Wow it was little wonder that Marvin Gaye lived the conflicted life he did, but I get the feeling that his father, religion or no religion would have been abusive either way, and used religion to act the way he did. But Marvin Gaye’s music will live on, especially in the big hits with Tammi Terrrell, his solo work, and most especially in one of the finest albums of all time across all genres, What’s Going On.
