Well ILOSM fam’, R. Kelly’s attorney tried to tell everybody that he did not plan to go down without a fight and based on these new reports, it looks like he’s following through with that plan. After two parents struck up a social media firestorm, by going to the media to blast Kellz with ‘sex cult’ claims, there hasn’t been a one day since, where his name hasn’t been in the news.

As you all know, the parents blamed Kellz for a plethora of things, including holding their 21 year old daughter, Joycelyn Savage, hostage; then saying she was brainwashed by him and experiencing Stockholm Syndrome- in which a captive develops love for the captor. Joycelyn’s parents, along with three other women claiming to be former associates of Kellz claimed he had a stash of women inside his Atlanta and Chicago homes, whom he used as ‘sex slaves’ and controlled. Joycelyn publicly responded, stating she is not a hostage. The police looked into the situation at the request of the parents and stated they found no evidence of wrongdoing on Kelly’s part.

One of Kelly’s attorneys, Linda Mensch, then immediately released a statement, which read:

“Mr. Robert Kelly is both alarmed and disturbed at the recent revelations attributed to him. Mr Kelly unequivocally denies such allegations and will work diligently and forcibly to pursue his accusers and clear his name.”

Cosby’s Ex-Powerhouse Attorney Reportedly Steps In

Now, word on the Old School curb is that R.Kelly and his team have reportedly hired Bill Cosby’s former attorney, Monique Pressley, who is said to be a BEAST in the courtroom. Many of you may remember Atty. Pressley as the face of Cosby’s sex assault case. She was one of the first attorneys to start speaking publicly on the matter and raised issues about the motives of Cosby’s accusers.

After a while, Pressley parted ways with Cosby’s legal defense team, for circumstances unknown, and went back to focusing on her other cases underneath her law firm, The Pressley Firm PLLC, where she is the lead attorney. She specializes in crisis management, communication, and civil litigation, crisis management and communications. Another interesting, yet random side-note about Atty. Pressley is that she’s also been an ordained minister since 2007.

DailyMail reported that they’ve spoken directly to sources close to Kellz’s camp, who have confirmed that Pressley will bring her legal skills to help Kelly fight back against the ‘sex cult’ allegations. As his attorney, Linda Mesch, vowed, he’s apparently ready to take legal action against what he says are absolutely false, slanderous accusations against him.

So far, it looks like R. Kelly may actually have a case. All of his ‘girlfriends’ living at his homes are said to be young adult women willingly living with him and enjoying a lavish lifestyle, filled with expensive gifts and trips. That just sounds like a typical “Sugar Daddy” scenario to me…just on steroids, because R. Kelly has the means to make it rain on not just one ‘tenderoni,’ but two house-loads of them.
