Oh Wow! Cosby Escorted To Court By A Legendary 70’s Actress

Posted On : June 8, 2017

Bill Cosby got support of yet another one of his former co-stars on Wednesday (6-7-17). This time she wasn’t a Cosby Show actress though, she is a legendary actress who first made a huge impact on the acting game in the 1970’s.

Sheila Frazier (as ‘Georgia’) and Ron O’Neal (as ‘Youngblood Priest’) starring in “Superfly”

That actress is none other than Sheila Frazier. Remember her? She’s best known as ‘Youngblood Priest’s (Ron O’Neal) woman, ‘Georgia,’ in the iconic classic film, Super Fly. She’s also known for her roles in many other films, including the movie, Three The Hard Way; the sitcom, Gimme A Break; and most recently in Being Mary Jane TV series.

Sheila showed up to court with Cosby, clutching Cosby’s arm to show her support of the man she co-starred in the 1978 film, California Suite, with…which also starred Jane Fonda and Alan Alda Her husband, John Atchison was also there supporting Cosby. Atchison is renowned hairstylist whose clientele also includes Bill Cosby and his wife, Camille Cosby.

Speaking of Mrs. Cosby, she has yet to show up to court during Bill’s sexual assault trial in the case against accuser, Andrea Constand. Bill Cosby did however, note in a recent interview that Camille has been nothing but strong and supportive of him throughout the past few years since the many allegations against him have surfaced.

In other Cosby trial news, his former TV daughter, Keshia Knight Pulliam a.k.a. “Rudy,” will probably go down in history (regarding this case) as being the bravest  Cosby star of them all. Why? Because she was the very first co-star- or very first celeb’ overall- to show up to court in public support of Bill Cosby during his legal process.

It’s gonna be interesting to see who shows up next. I’m assuming it will have to be others who don’t have much to lose, out of fear of public backlash. Both Keshia Knight Pulliam and Sheila Frazier fall into that categories. On the other hand, someone like, say…Phylicia Rashad, may be questionable, because I also assume her Empire job could be at stake if she brings too much heat to the show. I could be wrong, but just calling it how I see it thus far.

About I Love Old School Music

We salute the incredible people and beautiful memories of that "old school". We’re not saying that every artist and every facet of the soul era was perfect, but the artists’ contributions to soul music and the old school memories of that particular time are PRICELESS.
