In the film, “Young Celie” was forced to be “Albert’s” wife, but they hated each other. He treated her like his servant and she lived in fear of him. In real life it was all good between Desreta Jackson (pictured) and Danny Glover, but on one occasion, Desreta was NOT too sure about that.
