R. Kelly Dropped By Sony Music And RCA, But His Songs Can Stay
Things are going from worse to more worse for the R&B legend, amid sex slave allegations. No one wants to be affiliated with the singer, especially since the airing of Lifetime’s Surviving R. Kelly.
Now, not even his labels are associating themselves with the artist’s future brand — being metaphorically dropped at the nearest bus stop, effective immediately. However, Sony Music and RCA aren’t totally banishing him from their business. It seems more symbolic to losing “popular kid” privileges in high school. No pun intended.
