Suspect Arrested For The Death Of “New Jack City” Producer’s Daughter
It was 1991 when high profiled Hollywood director, Doug McHenry, produced the iconic film, New Jack City. He set the industry on fire with that classic and many more, like A Thin Line Between Love and Hate, House Party. Just one year after New Jack hit theaters, his daughter, Lyric McHenry, was born. Sadly, little did anyone know, was that 26 years later, he and her mother would be mourning her August 2018 passing and dealing with several harsh revelations that surfaced afterwards.
Lyric was fortunate enough to have been raised in a plush lifestyle, growing up in Beverly Hills, Ca. She graduated from her Dad’s alma mater -Stanford University- in 2016, with a degree in ‘Comparative Studies in Race and Ethnicity.’ The Cali. native was also fluent in French, which she learned abroad in Paris. Her career was on the rise and she was also a new face to reality TV.
