Lately a lot of people have been talking about the drama behind the scenes on the hit television talk show The View. Well now Sherri Shepherd’s has opened up about her experience on the show.

The book grants readers an in-depth look into the ABC Morning Show for more than two decades. Showcased are all of the alleged wild antics, and show-stopping feuds that have assimilated over the past 20 years.

Although the comedian and actress was targeted in the intense book “Ladies Who Punch: The Explosive inside Story of ‘The View,’” she told Entertainment Tonight that she is thankful for her nearly nine years on the show. Even though it was not all positive.

When New Edition’s, Michael Bivins, introduced his new group, Another Bad Creation (ABC), 1991, everyone was like “Look at how those young dudes are rocking the crowds.” They had a short stint where they dominated the airwaves and had tween girls everywhere losing their minds over the new airbrushed overalls wearing, hip hop singing group.

Okay now don’t act like y’all didn’t think that these 5 young Bell Biv’ Devoe mini-me’s, didn’t have a couple songs that were off the chain. One of them was “Iesha.” Remember that? I’ll be honest- I caught myself singing the tune from time the time when I heard it on the radio back in the day…don’t judge me…LOL.

Then they came back with their hit, “Playground” and folks started to get the picture that Michael Bivins wasn’t playing around, he was going for it with his Timbaland and Starter jackets wearing protegees.

ABC went on to sell a million plus albums and folks were dubbing them as the ‘Jackson 5 of the 90’s’ but then they fell off as fast as they came up.

So what happened? Why’d they fall off? I think they fell victim to the MC Hammer syndrome (just on a much smaller scale)- they had a ton of success and a whole lot of exposure, became singing/rapping sensations too soon and it was just too much, too fast.

Sometimes instant fame and success is like drinking an energy drink- You get a high burst of energy, but after about 3 hours you crash and burn. The caffeine high wears off and you’re looking for the next new “high” to get you pumped again…welcome to Another Bad Creation’s success story.
