J. Lo will be starring in he upcoming feature film Hustlers which also stars Cardi B in her film debut. The story centers around J. Lo and Cardi as strippers who are trying to make ends meet by scheming on their duplicitous Wall Street clients during the financial crisis. J. Lo took to Instagram to announce the release date while filming an early morning scene at Bergdorf’s in New York City

She recently also spoke about Hustlers during an appearance on Sirius XM’s The Morning Mash Up and revealed how she felt about the role and how Cardi got involved.

It’s Official

It’s official! Jennifer “Jenny from the Block” and Alex “A-Rod” Rodriguez are headed down the aisle.

What better way to announce an engagement than by posting the big news on Instagram and showing off the engagement ring?

While J-Lo’s love might not cost a thing, it’s obvious that the engagement ring she’s sporting cost a pretty penny.

A-Rod and J-Lo took to social media to announce their engagement this past weekend. The couple has been dating for about two years now and sources close to the couple share that Rodriguez popped the big question while vacationing in the Bahamas, possibly to celebrate their second anniversary. Many fans and close friends expected a wedding to come from the relationship since the two had been blending their families and getting more acquainted with each other during their time together.

While fans of both celebrities are sending their congratulatory messages and sharing the posts on social media, the biggest detail is the humongous rock that J-Lo is carrying on her finger.

Jewelry experts estimated that the former Yankee legend spent about 7 figures on the engagement ring for J.Lo. Style and jewelry expert Lauren McCrawley confirmed the amount that the ring was worth with the details, ” J. Lo’s new emerald-cut stunner is what engagement ring dreams are made of,” McCawley explained. “An approximate 15-carat diamond sparkles in a platinum solitaire setting and could easily retail for $1 Million.”

More jewelry experts weighed in on the engagement ring making mention of the 20-carat emerald cut, “When you have an extremely rare and timelessly breathtaking stone such as this one, the goal of the ring should be to show off the rock naturally with as little embellishment as possible.”

Other celebrities that rock similar rings are Beyonce’, Elizabeth Taylor, and Angelina Jolie so J-Lo is in good company and A-Rod made a great decision. Now, we can only imagine what the wedding details will look like when the time comes.

After posting a picture of the engagement ring with the caption, “she said yes”, many celebrities posted their congratulations and social media went into a frenzy.

While people are applauding the upcoming ceremony, it’s obvious that the rock she’s rocking is holding the spotlight for the time being.
