Along with her photos, she explained why she decided to pose nude at this point in her life. In one caption she explained to women over 50, that “It’s not over ladies, not even close. Embrace your inner centerfold and live your life like its golden!”

Via Black America Web: “I already had a relationship with Penthouse where I directed a photoshoot from them and I guess out of the side of my mouth, I said you guys ought to shoot me. For those who don’t know, Arsenio was a single parent and actually found solace in fatherhood. The successful comedian revealed he gladly chose “fatherhood over fame” and has absolutely no regrets. Arsenio explained how he felt about switching gears.

“I knew going in that being a single parent would be one of the toughest jobs I’d ever have. I’d been a talk-show host, actor, comic, and on and on, but this gig was going to be my defining moment. So I made a decision to stop working and put my career on hold.”

A few years ago, Arsenio explained just how much it warmed his heart to have a son. Although he would have been happy with either, he admitted he was “obsessed with having a son.” The 65-year-old comedian also touched on important aspects of quality time he feels are essential for father and son.

“I would have been overjoyed for either a daughter or a son. Oh, who am I kidding? I was obsessed with having a son. I’ve been a sports fanatic for as long as I can remember, and for years all I’d wanted was for my dad to sit down and watch the games on TV with me, but it never happened,” Arsenio said, according to NewsWeek.

Arsenio also shared details about his relationship with his own father. “My father was a no-nonsense, dedicated, and focused minister, and there was usually a sermon he needed to prepare for or a Scripture he needed to study, and that always came first. As much as I loved my Dad and knew he loved me, I promised myself that if I had a child and if he were a boy, I’d always watch the games with him.”

When Arsenio appeared on Oprah’s Next Chapter, he was moved to tears when he spoke fondly of his only son.

If not, let us refresh your memory: Sinead said- and I quote- “Two words for the DEA investigating where Prince got his drugs over the decades…Arsenio Hall (AKA Prince’s and Eddie Murphy’s bitch.”

Well, now I guess after seeing that Arsenio has not let up on his promise to sue the brakes off of her, Sinead has just come back 10 months later to backtrack for lying on him. According to TMZ, Sinead and Arsenio released a joint statement saying “Sinead has retracted and apologized for statements she made about Arsenio last year, which prompted his defamation lawsuit against her.” And then came Sinead’s official apology. SINEAD’S APOLOGY TO ARSENIO:

“I apologize for my Facebook posts about Arsenio to the extent that anyone thought I was accusing him of acting as Prince’s drug dealer and supplying him with illegal hard drugs, or insinuating that Arsenio had something to do with Prince’s death. I sincerely apologize because those statements would be false, and I retract them unequivocally.”

Here’s the best news for Sinead though, Arsenio Hall is now DROPPING his $5 million lawsuit against her, since she’s apologized and admitted she was lying. Woah! She got off that time.

TOO MUCH, TOO LITTLE, TOO LATE?

I really dig Sinead O’Connor as an artist, but I gotta be real…it took her TEN MONTHS to apologize for her lie?!! Arsenio’s a good man for dropping his lawsuit so late in the game, because that was defamation at it’s finest. So uh…in the words of Deniece Williams and Johnny Mathis’ song: “Too much, too little, too late to ever try again,” would have been the response most folks would have given Sinead for that day late, dollar short apology…just saying. Take us out Deniece and Johnny…
