In a recent interview on the “Jennifer Hudson Show,” music icon, Cher, opened up about what most of her fans wanna know– why she prefers dating younger men…in particular, the nearly 40-years-younger dude she’s dating now. The 77-year-old, known for her unapologetic nature, didn’t hold back when discussing what romantically floats her boat.

Turning down the legendary Elvis Presley in the past due to nervousness, Cher revealed that she tends to be “shy…around men” outside of her work. However, that hasn’t stopped her from embracing a dynamic dating life with younger partners.

During the interview, Cher candidly confessed, “That’s the reason I got with young men. Men my age or older – well now, they’re all dead – but before, they were always terrified to approach me. And younger men were the only ones that…”

Discussing the boldness of younger men, Cher agreed with J. Hud that they’re “raised by women like me.” Clearly, the Grammy-winning singer is drawn to the confidence and fearlessness of her younger suitors.

Currently, Cher is dating music executive/ producer, Alexander “AE” Edwards, who is reportedly 38 years old. The couple has been together since 2022 and shows no signs of slowing down. Cher, who will be celebrating her 78th birthday this May, spoke highly of her relationship with AE, describing him as a “beautiful man” whom she’s having the “best time” with.

While many are skeptical about Cher’s having another Stella-Got-Her-Groove-Back moment, the rockstar is holding steadfast with her commitment to AE:
