This article is about another unfortunate Dennis Rodman debacle…*sigh*. What-in-the-mid-90’s-controversy-flashbacks-is really going on here?!! The 58 year old’s recent back to back run-ins with the law kinda feel like we’re back in 1995/96, when the NBA legend was cuttin’ up on the court, but living in a state of toxicity in his personal life.

That brings us to the current investigation that the Delray Beach Police Dept. has just opened up, in regards to a new battery claim against Dennis Rodman. He’s being accused of slapping the hell outta a man at a California bar on May 17th, were Rodman celebrating his 58th birthday party.

What Went Down At Rodman’s B-Day Party…
According to reports, the alleged victim is now ready to press charges. Details below:

Via TMZ– The alleged victim is 30-year-old Jeff Soulouque — who says he was hanging at the party when Dennis “unprovokedly turned around and smacked him,” right in the face.

Soulouque claims Rodman immediately began apologizing for the incident and invited him out to dinner the following night in an attempted peace offering. But, Soulouque tells TMZ Sports he was really hurt — and went to the hospital where he was diagnosed with a left corneal abrasion. He went to cops the day after the incident and filed a report.

A witness, named David Lee Roth (not the rock star), reportedly snitched on Rodman when cops contacted him about accuser, Soulouque’s, smack claim:

“Roth stated he was about twenty feet away and he saw Rodman turn around and open hand smack Soulouque two times,” the report states. … Cops are now on the hunt for video of the incident and have listed Rodman as an official suspect in an alleged battery.

Dennis Rodman’s Lawyer Calls BS…
Rodman’s lawyer, Lorne Berkeley, has now spoken about about the alleged smack down and denied everything:

“I’ve spoken with people who were with Dennis the entire night of the alleged incident at Buddha Sky Bar. No one saw any such incident occur and Dennis was sober the entire night. … Currently the matter is in its preliminary stages but we fully expect after a thorough investigation that no such incident will be substantiated. Dennis denies any such incident occurred.”

This latest smack-em-up allegation comes just weeks after Dennis Rodman, his wife, and two friends were named as suspects in a clothing robbery at a Newport Beach, CA yoga studio on May 8, 2019. That case is still pending.

Hopefully the brotha gets whatever help he may (or may not) need at this time. But in the words of the late, great, ‘Florida Evans’: “Damn, damn, DAMN” Dennis!

One day after video of NBA legend, Dennis Rodman, and three associates reportedly robbing an upscale yoga studio, went viral, he’s now spoken out to give his side of the story. Unfortunately for him, his weird explanation is now raising eyebrows.

As we reported Thursday (May 9, 2019), the owner of VIBES Hot Yoga studio, in Newport Beach, CA, filed a police report against Dennis Rodman and his associates. They were caught on surveillance video seemingly pulling off a robbery heist, in which the owner says they stole $500 worth of clothing and attempted to steal a $2500 crystal art piece. Rodman: ‘It Was A Misunderstanding…What Had Happened Was’…
During an interview with TMZ, Rodman seemed to be making up certain parts of his story on the spot, while also recalling other details that were seen on camera, which he believes could clear his name:

“Nothing happened…we walked in- me and my lovely wife, and my dear friend Antonio and [he left out the other female]. The uh…employee -I guess it was a female- we walked in and all you saw me do was one thing, this *Rodman gestures standing tall, with his hands by his side.* I just stood there.”

Retired NBA player, Dennis Rodman, has been known not only as one of the coldest power forwards to ever grace the NBA, but he’s also become known for finding himself in some jacked up situations. Primarily, most of said situations have been the result of his own doing. What y’all are about to see now, is unfortunately said to be yet another one of those times.

The 57 year old legend is being accused of participating in a store robbery in Newport Beach, VA. The whole fiasco was caught on surveillance video and it is incredibly strange, especially for a brotha who throughout his lengthy b-ball career, has earned enough bread to buy a few small countries.

Anywho, Rodman was not alone in his reported conquest. He had 2 women and 1 man with him, who were a part of the apparent heist at an upscale Newport Beach Yoga spot.

Now, the owner of the joint has provided video and has spoken out to describe the ruckus Rodman and his friends caused, as well as the confrontation Rodman had during the alleged robbery. Details below…

Via TMZ: Dennis Rodman just pled guilty to multiple criminal charges in his wrong way freeway incident — and dodged a BULLET … TMZ Sports has learned. […] Rodman was facing 2 years behind bars — but we learned he struck a plea deal with prosecutors in which he pled guilty to 3 lesser charges and got 3 years probation in exchange. We’re told Rodman pled guilty to driving the wrong way on a freeway, providing false info to a cop and driving without a valid license. Besides the 3 years probation, Rodman was also given 30 hours community service and must pay for the property damage. Rodman had been spotted at a karaoke bar earlier in the evening and was pictured with keys in his hand.

BUT HIS ATTORNEY’S JUSTIFICATION GAVE US A CHUCKLE FOR TODAY:

TMZ: Rodman’s attorney, Paul S. Meyer, tells us, “We appreciate the careful review of the District Attorney to make the right call in settlement.” Meyer also said the freeway driving error was due to “poor sign placement.”

Okay let me get this straight. Rodman, the cat whose been arrested several times for alcohol related incidents- including two separate drunk driving incidents- and who has a history of severe alcohol abuse, drove up the WRONG SIDE of the freeway because a sign was placed “poorly”?!! I hate to kick a man when he’s down, but Rodman could’ve killed somebody. So I gotta give a big “HEEELL to the naw-no” to Rodman’s attorney for that incredible justification…

Sometimes many of us may need a good kick in the you-know-what to get us back on track, and right now it looks like Dennis doesn’t have that…especially when those around him justify his actions by making up excuses for him. Rodman seems like a good dude deep down, so hopefully one day he’ll get any help he may need to finally overcome any problems he has.
