If anyone knows anything about singer/actor, Tyrese Gibson, they know he had a serious problem with his Fast & Furious co-star/former friend, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. So much so, that his anger and hurt by The Rock, spilled over into his many social media rants a short time ago.

Well, that was then and this is now. Although Tyrese later expressed regret for his actions, that doesn’t mean he probably still doesn’t like what has just been announced about the spin-off of the Hollywood franchise he holds so dear to his heart. In fact, fans refuse to let him overlook it and it involves Idris Elba.

Idris Elba’s Announcement

Actor, Idris Elba, has just announced that he’ll be joining the Rock in the spin-off of Fast & Furious, titled, Hobbs & Shaw. He’s playing the villain, “Brixton,” and to say he’s excited is an understatement, based on his Instagram post:

Needless to say fans were surprised to see Id’ bringing his skills to the new Universal Pictures spin-off. Probably no one was more stunned than Tyrese though. Fast forward to today and here we are…Dwayne Johnson will soon be in theaters, battling the villain in Idris Elba. Fans will probably dig seeing such major stars teaming up for the first time. As far as a new Fast & Furious installment, we’ll just have to wait and see.

After Tyrese filed new court docs a few days ago, claiming to be too broke to pay Norma child support, due to her ruining his rep’ with domestic violence claims, Norma has legally clapped back at him as well. This go ’round she’s draggin’ Tyrese’s “Fast & Furious” co-star, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, into the mix:

Via TMZ: Norma Gibson filed legal docs this week — obtained by TMZ — firing back at Tyrese for claiming she ruined his career with domestic violence allegations … so he can’t afford to pay her legal fees. Norma claims his movie career is flailing because he got into a public beef with Dwayne Johnson … and that was all his fault — not hers.

Tyrese says he’s only raking in $51k a month but his expenses are more than $113k, so he’s too strapped for cash to cover anything else for her.

Norma calls BS and slams Tyrese … saying “his extravagant lifestyle and over $113,000 in monthly bills is his choice.” Besides … she believes he should have money from other sources to cover her attorney fees.

So, in other words, Norma seemingly believes that in this case, Tyrese has ‘Mo’Niqued’ himself and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson done pulled a Tyler Perry/Lee Daniels/Oprah move on him as a result. Did Norma offer any proof of that? Not as far as we know, but given Rock’s heavyweight Hollywood status, it’s possible…or not. Who knows?

Months after singer, Tyrese Gibson, went on a repeated, public rampage against his former friend and “Fast & Furious” co-star, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Rock is finally responding. Many of y’all may recall when Tyrese was goin’ OFF about Johnson, accusing him of betraying his “Fast” family, by taking an offer to star in a spin-off movie of the franchise film without them. Tyrese seemed both hurt and pissed off at that time and didn’t bite his tongue one bit throughout his various social media posts regarding Johnson. Now, Johnson isn’t really goin’ easy with his words about Tyrese either.

During a recent interview on “Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen,” Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson was asked if he had ever resolved his issues with Tyrese, to which he replied that they “haven’t talked at all.” He then revealed why he has ZERO plans on choppin’ it up with Ty’ now, after seeing the way he blasted him all over social media:

DJ: “Ya know, that whole thing with Tyrese, it was pretty disappointing because I’d been friends with Tyrese for a very long time,” he continued. “I always feel like a beef requires two people to actually jump in it, and it was really one-sided, and he had voiced his opinion a lot on social media.
