Simply put, while we don’t quite understand what exactly the Kardashians are famous for, they are certainly famous, and what we now know is that they are so famous, they’ve even managed to penetrate the lives of Old School celebs. Thus, ending up here on ILOSM.

Now onto which wealthy Old School icons are the godfathers of Kim and Khloe Kardashian, and has been close to them since they were babies…this might surprise you…

Yep, you’re seeing this right, Sugar Ray Leonard is the Goddaddy of Khloe Kardashian. So how did this happen you ask? Our main man, Sugar Ray, has been really close friends with their deceased father, Robert Kardashian, their mother, Kris Jenner, and also Caitlyn Jenner (formerly known as Bruce Jenner) for many years and he’s still close to them today.

Now we all know that Sugar Ray is one of the most phenomenal boxers in boxing history, but he’s also publicly admitted is that his life has has had some ups, some downs, and some outright ‘what the hell?!!’ type of moments as well. We’ve covered several of his moments here at ILOSM and this is yet another ‘WTH?!!’ fun fact about the brotha, I must say.

A few years ago, Sugar Ray actually spoke up in defense of his goddaughters on The Wendy Williams Show when he delivered this stern message to all the “Kardashian haters:”

“Kourtney, Khloe, Kim- they’re wonderful ladies. In fact I wanna say this: The fact that I heard things and normally I don’t talk, I don’t speak up publicly about anything, but for them here are three young ladies who have done extremely well, so for all the haters- just shut up, sit their ass down and take notice because these girls work hard,” said Sugar Ray.

On the flip side, Khloe is also very protective about her fam’ and in February of 2014 she went off on some of her fans who mistook a pic she posted on her twitter page of Sugar Ray as a snapshot of O.J. Simpson. Folks were saying all kinds of misguided things like ‘So O.J. really is your daddy!’ So it’s understandable why she was offended.

The photo was actually of her deceased dad, Robert Kardashian (who was one of O’J.’s attorneys for his murder trial), her stepdad Kris Jenner (now Caitlyn Jenner), and Sugar Ray Leonard…in that order. Khloe captioned the photo: “#TBT I love this picture! My daddy. My second dad. My God father.”

After getting pissed about folks mistaking her godfather for O.J., Khloe then tweeted this in response to them:

“For those of you that are that f–king stupid…. That’s NOT OJ in my #TBT that’s Sugar Ray Leonard. Some of you never fail to amaze me!”

However, after fans saw what she said to the Kardashians about one of their non-stop scandals and/or publicity stunts, Russell Simmons’ ex-wife is now getting dragged from here to Timbukutu online.

During the season finale’ of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, Kimora (44) gave Khloe Kardashian (35) advice about how to check Kylie Kardashian’s (21) former best friend, Jordyn Woods (21). The drama was over the much talked about controversial ‘drunken kiss’ that Khloe’s NBA baby daddy, Tristan Thompson (28), supposedly planted on Jordyn one night.

What fans have just learned during the finale’s airing, is that Kimora was the one who instigated the public shaming that the Kardashian clique ultimately delivered to Jordyn regarding the ‘kiss.’ In the show’s video clip, Kimora told Khloe and her sister, Kim, the following:

“I just think you guys cannot let people take advantage of you like this. Kim has said, Khloe, that you were like trying to take the high road, and you were saying, ‘I’m too old for this,’ and ‘This girl is young,’ but if you don’t protect your family, you don’t protect your child, your household, what goes on in your home, what kind of sh*t are you running? That’s your baby daddy, whether you’re with him or not. You cannot allow this kind of disrespect. … So you have to let her know: Don’t start none; won’t be none.”

At this point, with the amount of unbelievable tales coming from Lamar Odom’s new tell-all Darkness to Light he won’t be able to sell many books because we’re hearing the stories everyday. However, he’s been very open about his troubles in recent years. Though, one soft spot he has is for ex-wife Khloe Kardashian, who he admits he wronged during their marriage. Now, in another excerpt from the book, Lamar is confessing about one very wild night where Khloe took her anger out on a woman she caught him cheating with.

Girls, Girls, Girls

One of the biggest claims from his new book is that Lamar had a huge sexual appetite for women, which he classifies as a ‘sex addiction.’ His addiction resulted in him sleeping with around two-thousand women and unfortunately this was during his marriage to Khloe.  On one night in particular Khloe transformed into Mike Tyson after catching Lamar in the act. According to The Daily Mail in one part of the book Lamar admits to a time when he decided to have a drug induced orgy with a bunch of women that immediately went all the way left after Khloe arrived to his hotel unannounced. And she wasn’t alone.

The remorseful athlete, now 39, said he booked a room at the Hotel Roosevelt in 2012 for a sex fest with a string of strippers when Khloe and her ‘momager’ Kris Jenner barged in with their bodyguards.

There were “naked girls everywhere” when Khloe allegedly “opened the door and pounced on the first girl she saw”, he claimed.

“[She] beat the s**t out of one of the girls who tried to protest. She’s dropping vicious blows all over the top of this girl’s head.”

Kris allegedly screamed as the security guards attempted to separate Khloe from the other woman, before Khloe brusquely told Lamar to pack his bags while the bodyguards got rid of every trace of drugs.

This was just one of many new revelations Lamar talks about in his book. In addition to his womanizing ways he also admits that he’d have unprotected sex with up to six women a week and paid for many abortions. Yet another story involving Khloe and his addiction to drugs comes up as the most regrettable night of his life.

The ‘daddy’ topic even became part of the storyline on the Kardashian family’s reality show, Keeping Up With The Kardashians. There has been a lot of speculation that O.J. is the pappy, as opposed to the late Robert (Bob) Kardashian, O.J.’s friend and attorney who represented him during his murder trial. But TMZ reported early Wednesday morning that “The Juice” has now categorically denied that claim…

A reporter caught up with O.J. in Las Vegas over the weekend, as he exited a shop with his daughter, Sydney. He asked the controversial NFL legend and Heisman Trophy winner if congratulations were in order, suggesting that he would be a grandfather again when Khloe’s unborn baby is born. Sporting LaSean McCoy’s No. 25 Buffalo Bills jersey, O.J. picked up what the reporter was puttin’ down and responded that the rumors just aren’t true:

TMZ: “Are congratulations in order?”

O.J.: “For what?”

TMZ: “We hear that Khloe finally announced that she’s pregnant.”

Upon hearing the question, Sydney burst out into laughter, joined by her dad. She kept it moving, but O.J. indulged the reporter, explaining that if Robert (Bob) was alive, it would be good news for him. But for O.J., Khloe’s announcement just warrants his well-wishes:

“Well, for Bob, God bless his soul, yeah,” O.J. replied. “I don’t know for me. I don’t think for me I have nothing to do with it.”

Simpson explained that “Khloe and the girls were all terrific girls when they were growing up” and he thinks they are nice and terrific girls now. He noted that they have “added sex appeal to their resume” but he’s happy for their success. O.J. offered his best to Khloe.

“I would be proud… but trust me, I had nothing to do with it,” O.J. said.

When you think about it, the question in and of itself, was a low-key diss that O.J. could have addressed a whole different way. It clearly implies that he would have had an affair with his best friend’s wife in order to pull off being Khloe’s dad. But the football OG has been through worse and has probably gotten used to being falsely accused, at least according to his sides of the stories. Either way, Sydney wasn’t here for any of it. We echo her sentiments on this one though, as she was heard in the background saying, “Really???!!!” Yep, they tried it with this one, just sayin.’

The claims that Lionel Richie is Kris Jenner’s baby daddy a.k.a. Khloe Kardashian’s Pops, is one that just won’t die because there is very good reason for folks to believe such a thing. If you recall, in 2014 this rumor surfaced after Kris Jenner’s tell-all book released, detailing affair(s) she had while married to her late husband, Robert Kardashian. Her reveal then prompted a source, close to Lionel Richie, to publicly speak out with details about Kris’ and Lionel’s past love affair in the 80’s.

Khloe even cried about not knowing who her father is and wondering if it was in fact Richie. She was even allegedly quoted as telling her mom “If you f—ed other people during the same time and you do not know, go on Maury [Povich Show].”

The source told RadarOnline that “They [Lionel Richie and Kris Jenner] had a sexual affair – he bragged about it. He said he was on the outs with his wife at the time. Everyone was sleeping around with everyone else back then, and Kris was hot in those days.”

Khloe Kardashian and Lionel Richie never had a DNA test (as far as we know) to determine who is who, but the Richie family is pretty close to the Kardashians. Richie’s daughter, Sofia, who looks like a mini-me version of Khloe, often hangs out with Jenner’s daughter, Kylie. Also Richie’s son is always hangin’ with Kylie and he even tattooed her initials on his hand a couple of years ago.

We still don’t know if Richie is Jenner’s baby daddy, but after seeing these recent photo comparisons of Sofia Richie and Khloe, we now know exactly why this is one hot topic that just won’t fizzle out. Look at the photos below and tell is you think Khloe looks like Sofia’s big sis’ or not…

This is all just an outside observation of course, and we’re just pointing out the obvious- that these two young ladies do look a LOT alike. It could simply be a coincidence, or it could be some other unknown factor that we don’t know about. If the old school saying applies- ‘If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck, then it’s a duck’ – then somebody’s got some explaining to do…LOL…just saying. But for right now, we’ll simply follow Lionel Richie’s and Kris Jenner’s  lead and continue to refer to Khloe Kardashian and the rest of the Kardashian fam’ as friends of the Richie family.

Yep! Word on the Old School Curb is that Lionel Richie may be Khloe Kardashian’s father! According to an explosive report by In Touch Weekly via RadarOnline.com, rumors began swirling after a source allegedly told the magazine that Kardashian’s mom Kris Jenner had a “steamy fling” to the 80s music heartthrob. A friend of the ‘Hello’ star told InTouch:

“They had a sexual affair – he bragged about it. He said he was on the outs with his wife at the time. Everyone was sleeping around with everyone else back then, and Kris was hot in those days.”

But what does Khloe have to say about these rumors and what did she say to her Mom about the issue of the paternity of her biological father???

On their reality show “Keeping Up With The Kardashians,” Khloe decided not to take the DNA test to prove the paternity of her father. She told her Mom:

“If you f—ed other people during the same time and you do not know, go on Maury [Povich Show].”

In response to the rumors that Lionel Richie is her dad, Khloe seems to laugh it off, so I guess when she’s ready to find out, she will and we can then stop adding folks to her list of possible fathers.

“I’ve had so many dads my head is spinning.”
