ILOSM family…in case y’all haven’t yet heard, Mo’Nique has just caused quite a stir on these social media streets again. In the latest chapter of their long-standing beef, Mo’Nique has once again thrown verbal jabs at media moguls, Oprah Winfrey and Tyler Perry. During a recent performance (see video below) on Katt Williams’ tour, Mo’Nique let loose with a cuss-word-laced tirade, branding Winfrey and Perry as “coon mothaf*****s”.

Mo’Nique made her feelings abundantly clear, shouting, “F*** YOU OPRAH WINFREY, F*** YOU TYLER PERRY!!!” The crowd echoed her sentiments, adding a crude twist. But not everyone seemed eager to join the onslaught, with some audience members displaying hesitation. Mo’Nique wasted no time in calling out an Oprah fan, even encouraging him to “bring O back to Black” by engaging in intimate activities with her, if you catch my drift.

But Mo’ didn’t stop there. Amidst her barrage of bashing, Mo’Nique sarcastically expressed her love for Oprah while simultaneously referring to her as “simple-minded” and a “raggedy bit*h”. She then went on to question the nature of Oprah’s relationship with Gayle King, hinting at a romantic connection between the two.

Mo’Nique then proceeded to stir up the longstanding rumor that has followed Gayle King and Oprah Winfrey for most of their careers, by suggesting Gayle and Oprah are friends with benefits so to speak.

To solidify her points overall, Mo’Nique offered an explanation for her statements to the audience, stating “I’m too mothaf***in’ old to be scared of this bit*h. I’m too old to be intimidated by this bit*h. I’m too old to hold the mothaf***in’ truth.”

This ongoing feud between Mo’Nique, Oprah, and Tyler Perry traces back to Mo’Nique’s allegations of being “blackballed” in Hollywood after she refused to participate in certain press events for the film “Precious”, which Winfrey and Perry produced. Over the years, Mo’Nique has repeatedly accused both stars of actively sabotaging her career.

Notably, Mo’Nique previously appeared on Shannon Sharpe’s “Club Shay Shay” podcast, claiming to possess a recording of Tyler Perry bad-mouthing her, an allegation that Perry vehemently denied.

Mo’Nique’s recent appearance on the “Club Shay Shay” podcast has stirred up conversations about her relationship with her oldest son, Shalon Jackson. In a heartfelt TikTok video, Shalon decided to share his side of the story and address his Mother’s comments.

In case you’re a lil’ tardy for the party, the other day comedian/actress, Mo’Nique, has pissed off a few of her fellow comedians recently, after she blasted several of them on Shannon Sharpe’s, “Club Shay Shay” podcast. Not all of them have responded, but one we knew good n’ hell well would is comedian/radio host, DL Hughley… and he clapped back with a vengeance at Mo’Nique and her husband with (who have since responded, but we’ll get to that in a sec’).

During her “Club Shay Shay” interview, Mo’Nique accused Hughley of allowing his co-radio show hosts to disrespect her and dismiss her complaints.

She also touched on a conflict between them stemming from confusion over a 2022 event, when Hughley refused to perform if Mo’Nique closed the stand-up special, claiming that he was listed as the headliner in the event memo. However, according to Mo’Nique, her contract stated otherwise. At the time of the 2022 event, their feud took an ugly turn with personal attacks when Mo’Nique brought up the sensitive topic of Hughley’s daughter, Ryan Shepard, a sexual assault survivor. Mo’Nique questioned why Hughley had spoken negatively about others but “won’t call out the name of the person that violated his daughter.”

As y’all can imagine, DL wasted no time in firing back. He took to Instagram to vehemently deny Mo’Nique’s claims, calling her a liar. He criticized her for constantly tearing people down and then attempting to always soften the blow with endearing terms like “Brotha,” “Sista,” or “Sweet baby,” stating that it’s far from “love,” as she claims it to be:

DL- “The reason lies and false narratives continue to go on and circulate is because they go unchecked. What you’re not gonna do is call me out my name and not get checked. Mo’Nique is a liar!”

He continued:

“She is constantly throwing the rock and hiding the hand. You don’t get to tear people down and then soften the blow by calling them ‘Brotha,’ ‘Sista,’ or ‘Sweet baby.’ That’s not love, far from it.”

Never would I try to do anything to harm any of your babies because we got babies, too. “Here’s a man that was found not guilty in the eyes of the law,” Mo’Nique said. “And you wait for 10 years after this man was deceased, to now do an interview with people who said they lied.”

Even though the above comment was giving off a ton of ‘Negative Nancy’ vibes and lies, there was one truth in it- the part where the commenter referenced Mo’Nique’s ‘man,’ Sydney Hicks, being a major motivating factor.

Mo’Nique began her health journey around 2012, after being diagnosed with high blood pressure. In a prior interview with Arsenio, she revealed why her outlook on being a nearly 300 pound woman has changed and that husband, Sydney, was her initial wake-up call:

“When my husband asked me my weight, I answered and he said ‘…That’s too much weight. I want you around for a lifetime and that’s not healthy. … It was at that moment that I went through guilt, I went through shame, because of my size. Because I never felt love like that before.

For a long time I was a child in my way of thinking. I thought that I could eat what I wanted, do 
what I wanted, and was reckless in the sense of abusing my body. That’s when I was younger. …

I think that the journey I have to take now is that I have babies. I have a son who is 23, but I also have a son who is nine. And we have twins who are seven. I want to meet their children. I want to be able to play with their children. I don’t want to be a burden on my family due to self-neglect….I was fortunate to watch my grandmother play with my children. I want to be in the same position.”

By the way, Mo’Nique follows a vigorous, yet fun weight loss regimen and has done so without weight loss surgery, despite what her haters think:

“No surgery, no prepackaged foods, not listening to spokespeople saying ‘It’s easy. You can do it,’” Mo’Nique said in an online video. “You can eat and still drop this weight. It’s called raw food. It’s called dancing your pounds off. It’s called giving yourself a chance to live the best life you can live.”

Mo’ique was a beautiful woman at almost 300 pounds, just as she is today at her smallest size in her adult life. Her health is most important though, so we applaud her efforts and the health journey she shares with her fans.

Anyways, he’s just bashed the hell outta comedian/actress, Tiffany Haddish, during a brutally honest interview. As a result, Tiffany had a lil’ somethin’ to say about him too.

In an interview on V103’s “Frank & Wanda Show,” the topic of Tiffany Haddish’s new Netflix stand-up deal arose and that’s when Katt Williams’ drag session commenced for several minutes. He bashed Tiffany for garnering successes that he feels she does not deserve whatsoever…at least not in the comedy game.

The show’s co-hosts were in complete shock, but that didn’t stop Katt from laying out a laundry list of reasons why he thinks Tiff’ shouldn’t be the “It” female comedian right about now. However, he also stood up for comedian, Mo’Nique…but not before throwing out some harsh facts her way first…

Katt Williams on Mo’Nique’s Netflix complaint of treating Black women unfairly:

“Well, everybody has to understand that Netflix doesn’t have an opinion on stand-up comedy. They base what they pay you, by the amount of ticket sales for your last tour. So Mo’Nique’s last tour had 316,000 tickets, therefore, that’s what she got offered. My last tour had 2.4 million tickets and so that’s what they offered me,” Katt said regarding his latest Netflix stand-up special.

“If people understand that it’s not personal, then they can just -for free- take they’re a$$ to work and get their numbers up. […] Netflix don’t call nobody, that’s the joke. … Is Coca-Cola knockin’ on people’s door to see what type of beverage they having today?”

On Tiffany Haddish, here’s what Katt had to say:

“She’s been telling jokes since she was 16, you can’t tell me one Tiffany Haddish joke,” Katt knowingly stated to the co-hosts. He continued, “Why? Because she ain’t done a tour yet, she ain’t done a special. She has not proven the ability to tell jokes back-to-back for an hour to nobody. And they already ready to down Mo’Nique and up somebody who has shown them Girls Trip.

Do you think she wrote Girls Trip goofball? Or do you think that was already a script and they handed it to her?

It’s up to you- whatever you want to believe. I’m the introduction to Tiffany Haddish in the movie, School Dance. The clip for School Dance has been seen more times than the movie has, that’s just a fact.”

Katt went on to say that Girls Trip‘s success had everything to do with it having “3 of our greatest Black actresses in it” (referring to the legacies of Jada Pinkett-Smith, Queen Latifah, and Regina Hall) and very little to do with Tiffany.

As far as the “White man” he referenced in his interview, according to Atlanta Journal Constitution:

[Katt Williams] also thinks Haddish is now the “It” girl because she wants “to sleep with a white man,” referencing a rumored relationship with recently divorced Brad Pitt. He also bad-mouthed her for marrying and divorcing a white man.

Williams also had a LOT to say about comedians, Jerrod Carmichael, Kevin Hart, Lil’ Rell, Hannibal Burress and more…it was comical, shady, and at times even thought provoking. You can peep his interview up top.

Ever since then, Roseanne has consistently made headlines for defending herself over her foul tweets that continue to haunt her and put her true colors on front street. While most people are still giving Roseanne the side eye, there’s one actress who is actually defending her – Mo’Nique.

According to KTLA, in the video interview below, Mo’Nique is reportedly standing with the woman she describes as her “sister in comedy,” despite her epic racist tweet that’s caused so much backlash. So, why would Mo’Nique stand with Roseanne? Well, the answer is simple: ‘no one is perfect,’ so says Mo.’ On Friday, July 27, Mo’Nique appeared for a Morning News interview with Sam Rubin, where she discussed the controversy with Roseanne:

“I remember when I had the ‘Mo’Nique Show,’ and there were big, major Black superstar talent that had White representatives and they told their talent, ‘That show is too Black and we really don’t want you to go on there,’” Mo’Nique said. “But there was a White woman, named Roseanne Barr, that showed up for me. … And they didn’t hear the conversation when the cameras wasn’t rolling. … That woman was giving me some beautiful words.”

Mo’Nique went on to ask a request of her fans.

“My sister made a mistake and she said something I know she wishes she could take back,” Mo’Nique said. “But what I would ask, is we don’t throw her away.”

Roseanne Speaks Out Again:

Mo’Nique’s interview follows Roseanne’s appearance on Fox with Sean Hannity on Thursday, July 26. Once again, she was asked about her racist “ape” tweet- about former Pres. Obama and his former senior advisor, Valerie Jarrett- and she was forced to address the awkward situation on air. She insisted she was “so sad that people thought” her tweets about Jarrett were “racist.” Laaaawd…

“I’ve apologized a lot, it’s been two months,” Barr said. “I feel like I have apologized and explained and asked for forgiveness and made recompense, that’s part of my religion.” According to Fox News, she went on to share her reaction to the ordeal, admitting that she “made a mistake.” She added, “It cost me my life’s work.”
