We all know Andre “Dr. Dre” Young (56) as the N.W.A. legend, who then went on to become co-founder of Death Row Records, who later morphed into the almost billionaire Beats by Dre mogul, that we see before us today. Though the latter business feat was accomplished later in his life, its his gangsta rap-producer persona that he’s most known for. Well, fast forward to now, and his 24 year old biracial son caught many Dr. Dre fans by surprise.

Why is that? Well for several reasons: (1) At first glance, the young brotha does not look much like his legendary Pops; and (2) His eclectic sense of style is more Blink 182 pop-rock, and less like NWA, Death Row, nor his Pops’ current Forbes List cover-ready business attire.

Introducing Tyler Young, the 24 year old son of Andre “Dr. Dre” Young. As you can see, they are a tad different at first glance…

Though their individual styles may be lightyears apart, there is one thing Tyler has in common with his Pops- their love of music. The younger Young is a music producer. His specialty seems to be house music mixed with a tinge of hip hop.

By the way, Tyler also looks a lot like his Moms/Dr. Dre’s soon-to-be-ex-wife of 25 years, Nicole Young (56). As far as we know, Nicole is of White and/or Hispanic descent and her maiden name is Nicole Plotzker.

Judge Denied Dr. Dre’s Wife’s Emergency Restraining Order

Speaking of the soon-to-be exes, amid their current divorce battle, Nicole recently filed for an emergency restraining order against Dr. Dre. for — get this — him calling her a “greedy bi*ch” and also a “bitch and a perjurer” in the new song he released in February 2020. In court docs, Nicole claims she feels Dre’s summarization of her was somehow a ‘threat,’ stating that “he has upped the ante and is now outright threatening me to keep my mouth shut or else.” The judge disagreed with Nicole’s claim of a perceived ‘threat’ and ruled there was “insufficient evidence” to back said claim.

Nevertheless, Dr. Dre and Nicole couldn’t be more proud of their eldest child, Tyler, just as they are of their youngest, daughter Truly Young, who was accepted into UCLA a couple years ago.

Dr. Dre reportedly has a total of eight children from various relationships.

In case y’all are not familiar with Sedale Threatt, here’s a quick breakdown of his legendary status:

– He played in the NBA for 20 years, from 1983 to 1997. He also later played in several other basketball leagues overseas.

-Threatt played starting point guard for the Los Angeles Lakers for 5 years, starting in 1991, where he was originally signed as Magic Johnson’s backup, until Magic retired due to his 1991 HIV diagnosis.

-Sedale became known as the ‘last sixth round draft pick to play in the NBA,’ because after he was drafted, the league shortened the NBA draft to two rounds.

– He initially was signed to Philadelphia 76’ers in the 1983 NBA draft, where he remained for 4 years. He then signed with the Chicago Bulls in 1987, then to Seattle Supersonics in 1988, where he played for 4 years as well.

The Allegations About The Three Of Them:

Nicole Left Sedale Threatt For Dr. Dre?
According to several sources, Nicole reportedly left Sedale Threatt for Dr. Dre, after three years of marriage. Word on the Old school curb is that Sedale was out here runnin’ wild in these streets, with groupies galore.

When Nicole was married to Sedale, she allegedly got sick n’ tired of his cheating ways and reportedly began a relationship with Dr. Dre.

During a The Breakfast Club” interview, Dr. Dre’s longtime ex/mother of his child -former Death Row singer, Michel’le- reportedly alluded that Dre allegedly left her for Nicole.

Sedale Has How Many Kids???

Sedale Threatt is said to have approximately 14 kids, but that has yet to be proven. Additionally in 2000, a judge sentenced Sedale to 6 months in prison for failing to pay child support. That same judge also ordered him to take care of five additional outstanding child-support orders, in other jurisdictions, for children he reportedly procreated in those areas as well. He’s since remarried and lives in Melbourne, Australia.

Dr. Dre’s Alleged Love Letter?

There is also an alleged 1995 handwritten love letter written to Nicole, by Dr. Dre, in which he’s trying to persuade her to finally leave Sedale Threatt.

IF that letter is authentic, then Dr. Dre’s alleged persuasion worked…but unfortunately after 24 years of marriage, they’re headed to divorce court. Not sure how much bread Nicole is gonna get from the divorce though. So far, their pre-nup is said to be game tight—in Dr. Dre’s favor. Only time will tell. Best wishes to them all.

Hip Hop pioneer, Andre ‘Dr. Dre’ Young, is a beast when it comes to music production and business. Years after his time in the iconic rap group, N.W.A, he found further solo success with 1992’s, The Chronic, and 1999’s, 2001. Dre’s been a hitmaker for the majority of his career, though his character has come into question on numerous occasions.

Details Of Employee’s Lawsuit

Although Dre has been credited for helping launch the careers of fellow rappers, Snoop Dogg and Eminem, he’s also had strong allegations thrown at him for past bad behavior. Now those allegations have extended over to people on his payroll, as has been revealed by his former employees in a new lawsuit.

The Blast reports that Dre and his wife, Nicole Young, are being sued by their former employees, Ines Cornejo and Diana Brenes, for shocking work conditions and very little pay:

Cornejo says she worked for the Youngs from September 2015 through September 2018. She says her position was as a laundress — and apparently the family had a lot of laundry to do because Cornejo says she was provided only a few minutes to eat during her shift.

She also says her meal breaks were often later in her shift and were frequently interrupted or cut short entirely. Cornejo also claims she was not given rest breaks or paid for the rest breaks she was not given, as the law dictates.

Brenes, who worked for the Youngs from 2010 until 2017, has made similar claims. However, Brenes claims her meal breaks were cut short, by the Youngs request, to immediately begin working again. The two women are suing the Youngs for failure to provide meal and rest periods, as well as several other labor violations. Dre and his wife Nicole, have yet to comment on the allegations.
