Flavor Flav, it’s all love for his Public Enemy bro, Chuck D, as they drop their new banger “Everywhere Man” – and even though they ghosted each other for a bit, he swears there was no drama.

Flav interviewed with TMZ recently, and he said he’s tired of people asking him when P.E. would get back together – but he says they never split up – they just took a chill pill.

Even with all the crazy stuff that went down between them, Flav says he’s got mad love for Chuck – and it’s mutual.

He admits sometimes they don’t vibe, and when that happens, he says they patch things up and keep it moving:

Via Complex Magazine – “A lot of people been asking me, ‘When is Public Enemy going to reunite?'” he told TMZ Hip-Hop. “We never broke up to reunite. We just took a long break.”

The 64-year-old artist continued by assuring fans that him and Chuck D “never really was beefing.”

“There wasn’t no beef,” he shared. “I love my partner, man. And I know he loves me, too. You know what I’m saying? Sometimes, you know, you don’t see eye to eye on everything.”

Flav added, “One thing about me and Chuck, we always manage to pull it back together to see eye to eye and to keep moving forward.”

On the music tip, Flav is hyped about his new single, which features Chuck and is coming out on Jan. 10. It also has some dope artwork by a graphic designer named Aimee Johnson.

When we previously reported that Ginuwine’s ex-wife of 12 years, former rapper Sole,’ had gotten married to another celeb’ in August 2017, there was one looming question that many were wondering: What does Ginuwine think ’bout this? Well folks, today is the day we’re about to find out.

In case you didn’t catch the big news, Sole’ (47) shocked the hell outta many when she jumped the broom with the new love of her life, Public Enemy’s Professor Griff (60). After getting a divorce from Ginuwine (50) in 2015 and starting a romantic relationship with Griff just last year on August 11th, 2016 (according to Sole’), her love life moved pretty quickly. However, Sole’s new marriage is just like Atlantic Starr sang back in the day, “when love calls you better answer.”

Now, back to Ginuwine’s thoughts on the mother of two of his five children marrying another celebrity. We did a lil’ diggin’ and were pleasantly surprised to see that the “Pony” singer is on his grown folks level, as it pertains to Sole’ and Professor Griff. Here is what Sole’ revealed on Instagram about her ex-husband and her now new husband:

Clearly though, Griff and Sole’ were in touch throughout the years, including the time Sole’ and Ginuwine were happily married. Matter of fact, there’s an online photo circulating of the three of them chillin’ at the 2009 Soul Train Music Awards.

Fast forward to today and it’s a beautiful thing to see pretty much the same level of happiness on all three of their faces, with two men respecting each other and the Queen they both love (in different ways) by managing their new family ties accordingly. Remember Hottie from the Flavor of Love reality show? She was the contestant who seemed a little -uh…let’s see how I should say this- she seemed a little touched in the psychological department. That’s no diss to her, just an observation of the persona (real or not) she put out there for all the world to see. For example, as she competed for Flavor Flav’s love on the show, she became known as the chick who tried to serve up an uncooked chicken to Flav,’ as if it were a completely normal thing to do…

Hottie was also often criticized by the other ladies on the show, for making odd statements, such as the time she said she looks just like Beyonce.’ Don’t get me wrong, Hottie’s a nice looking woman, but she and Beyonce have totally different features. That would be like saying Kelly Rowland and rapper, Foxy Brown, look like twins – both incredibly beautiful women, but they look nothing alike. Anywho, I can keep going on about Hottie’s weird ways, but I think y’all get what I’m saying, moving on…

Fast forward a few years and our girl, Schatar “Hottie” Sapphira Collier, made a comeback like she never left! In 2018 she has stepped into the field of musicals – you know, like the popular all-Black adaption of the Broadway musical, Hamilton. Only difference between Hottie’s musical, “Amulet of Love,” and “Hamilton,” is that Hottie’s musical is not…”Hamilton.” Check out the details of the oddly interesting storyline behind her new project:

Via TheBlast: “Amulet of Love” follows Alexis Hamilton…a lonely but internationally revered singer, who falls in love with a modest deliveryman. The lovers connect after Alexis envisions the deliveryman’s necklace in a prophetic dream … is the best we could describe it.

Collier directed, wrote, produced, starred, catered and most likely provided transportation for the 9-minute whirlwind which has received mixed reviews, including this one on Amazon: “There are a lot of good short films, but this is a different kind of terrible. I seriously cringed maybe the first 2 minutes of watching this. I’m surprised I watched the whole 9 minutes of it. Maybe the reason I got through it was because I was appreciating that something is worse than my life.”

My opinion is, regardless of if it’s good, or absolutely garbage, it has Hottie in it, doing what Hottie does, so it’s worth a watch. Her musical is a 5-part mini-series available on Youtube and Amazon.

Lastly, even though I think Hottie has always been hella comical to watch on TV, I gotta give it to her, she’s found a way to maneuver her name back into the spotlight once again. Wishing her the best with her stage play.

As we previously reported, Flav was violently attacked at a Las Vegas casino on Tuesday (1-23-18) night. In case you missed it, here’s what happened:

Flavor Flav was beat down at South Pointe Casino in Las Vegas, by a man named Ugandi Howard, who accused Flav of disrespecting his mother. Flav’ told cops that the only reason he went down to the ground during the fight, was because he’d pulled his groin muscle. Eventually, the cops showed up, cited Howard for battery and released him. Flav went to the hospital and was released with minor injuries. But now this…

As of today, Jan. 25th, video of the fiasco has hit the internet and it’s pretty bad…at least when you factor in the fact that Flav’ is 58 years old and getting kicked in the head like that. What you’re about to witness, is a partial clip of the beatdown after it had already started. It shows Flav’s attacker, Ugandi Howard, in a state of rage, as Flav’ hovers on the ground and repeatedly tries to escape the blows. It was only once onlookers stepped in to try to defend Flav, that Howard stopped and Flav was able to escape. Check out the fight footage below:

Recap Of Why Flav Is Suing Chuck D

The reason Flavor Flav is suing Chuck D, as we previously reported, is because he believes that Chuck D and other members on their team illegally used his name and likeness for their latest album, “Nothing Is Quick in the Desert” (released in June 2017), without paying him. Flav claims he requested $75k for the album, but only received $7,500. Chuck D denied all claims and pretty much said that Flav simply does not understand how  the new aged music game works (meaning considerably less profits from actual music sales these days).

Well, that has not stopped Flav from trying to serve Chuck with lawsuit papers- something he says he’s been trying to do for months. In his last effort to do so, Flav attempted to serve Chuck legal papers in December 2017 and made a terrible discovery when his legal person arrived to Chuck’s California home.

Flavor Flav’s Claim About Chuck D.’s Home

In court docs, Flav revealed that Chuck D’s home had ‘burned down’ in the Thomas Fire that has devastated thousands across Cali.. However, Chuck D. has now confirmed that Flav’s discovery isn’t exactly correct.

Via TheBlast: Legendary rapper Chuck D lost his home during the devastating Thomas Fire, which is now officially the largest wildfire in modern California history. The revelation came about after fellow Public Enemy rapper Flavor Flav tried to serve Chuck D with legal papers because Flav believes Chuck and the group’s management firm screwed him out of a ton of cash in profits.

Chuck D. Says Don’t Believe The Hype

After seeing Flav’s story make headlines across the internet, Chuck D. has now taken to spoken out to clear up what Flav stated. His home is in fact damaged and he had to be evacuated, but he says it did not burn down to the ground.

Via TB: A rep for Chuck tells The Blast, “Chuck D’s home has not burnt down. He is heartsick over the losses the people of Ventura and its surrounding areas continue to endure.” […] Chuck D took to social media, and said that his house was damaged by “toxins” and mudslides, and he was also evacuated — but his house is still standing.

Not quite sure how the whole ‘house burning’ mix up got started in the first place, but we’re just glad that Chuck and his fam’ are safe and sound. We wish him the best with repairing his home. We also wish him and Flavor Flav all the best with repairing their brotherhood and business relationship.

The Thomas Fire is responsible for damaging Oprah Winfrey’s home and many others, including 1000 structures in Cali and over 280,000 acres of land. It’s now about 92% contained. Sending uplifting energy to all affected by this devastating fire at this time.

Chuck D. refuses to allow Flavor Flav’s new lawsuit to make him public enemy number one in the eyes of their fans. That’s why he’s just spoken out to respond to his P.E. group member’s lawsuit against him and his reply had a lot of poise, with a side of shade.

WHY FLAVOR FLAV IS SUING

Many of you may recall our previous report, revealing that Flav’s lawsuit claimed that despite the long standing agreement he and Chuck D. have to split profits from their music, merchandising, and live shows, Chuck is still getting paid for all of that, but Flav’ says he hasn’t seen a royalty check in years.

CHUCK D.’S RESPONSE

Well, here’s Chuck D.’s response:

Via TMZ– Chuck D responded to Flav’s lawsuit, telling us … “Flav HAS HIS rights, but took a wrong road on this.” The rap legend says his P.E. bandmate is just pissed about a third party merchandiser and the way the record biz now works. […] Still, Chuck made it clear … “We will be [together] on a future stage.” He also thinks Flav “will again be embarrassed admitting on stage about the way it spun out. It’s always this way with him.” He added he’s ready and willing to address Flav’s concerns in the future, but right now he just hopes his partner “will be woke in rehearsal studio and paying attention to the work we and all the members do worldwide.”

At least those brothas will be on stage together soon…that is IF, like Chuck D. implied, Flav’ decides to stay awake and be on point for rehearsals…that was the dash of shade I was previously referring to.

Meanwhile, Flavor Flav is probably somewhere reading Chuck D.’s response and yelling “Don’t Believe The Hype!” Okay, that was hella corny (LOL) but I couldn’t resist.

Word on the Old School curb is that while 911 may have been ‘a joke’ to Public Enemy in 1990, Flavor Flav feels like Chuck D. is taking him as a joke in 2017. News has just spread that Flav’ is blaming Chuck and a few others on their team, for trying to stick him for his paper. Below are the details…

Flavor Flav’s suing Chuck, Gary and several other PE managers and producers for lost profits and to stop using his mug to make a buck.

After learning about this unfortunate situation, I feel like Chris Rock in Boomerang when he said, “Damn, first the Fat Boys break up…now this.” Hopefully the whole P.E. crew will work this thing out soon. Meanwhile, back at the ranch…

By the way, in case you’re wondering, yes, Griff is older than Sole’ by 13 years to be exact- he’s 57 and she’s 44.

Also, when we first broke the story about Sole’s and Griff’s relationship, there were many comments left on our Facebook page questioning Sole’ about going from a ‘sex symbol’ dude, like Ginuwine, to a more ‘average’ looking cat, like Griff. Two things are obvious though, Professor Griff is ‘sexy’ to Sole’ and the deep bond they share is a beautiful thing. So the physical differences pointed out by many were understandable, but it’s just like the Old School saying goes, ‘Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.’
