We thought this story was worth sharing because we think there are lessons to be learned from it. This is from the perspective of Richard Pryor’s daughter, who had to witness some things that she shouldn’t have, while growing up with her Dad. We have nothing but love for Richard Pryor, but we all know that he’s admitted plenty of times interviews and in his comedy acts that he had his wild days. In 1978 Richard Pryor had to turn himself into Los Angeles police after a warrant was issued for his arrest on an ‘assault with a deadly weapon’ charge from an incident that happened at his home on New Year’s day. His wife spoke out about it in a public interview and Richard eventually included it in his stand up routine a few times.
