Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones –the former Bad Boy producer who’s suing Diddy– has finally broken his silence months after unleashing a load of claims against the troubled Bad Boy mogul. This comes one day after Sean “Diddy” Combs’ lawyer filed a motion, on his behalf, to have Lil Rod’s case dismissed. Now, Lil Rod has pounced back with even more claims against Diddy.

As y’all have heard by now, Lil Rod filed a civil lawsuit against Diddy in February 2024, which included several claims such as ‘grooming him and exposing him to several crimes, including drug trafficking, sexual assault and serving drug-laced cocktails’ at his popular Diddy-parties.

Lil Rod’s Latest Claims Against Diddy Following The Aftermath Of His Lawsuit

In a new Rolling Stone interview, Lil Rod discussed the difficulties he says he’s had ever since filing his lawsuit against Diddy. His latest claims including everything from alleged Diddy-threats, to suicidal thoughts, to being blackballed in the music game and more.

On the threats Lil Rod says he’s received after filing lawsuit against Diddy:

Lil Rod- “I got threats. I’ve never had so much hitting me at once. Diddy has a lot of people on his payroll in a lot of different positions. He’s very connected. It’s made me nervous traveling. Going to hotels, I ask if there’s any way to remove my name. [The last time] I landed in L.A., I knew he had connections there. I got off the plane worried. I masked my face and changed my outfits, trying to disguise myself. For sure I was uncomfortable, paranoid, afraid. But I told myself, you can’t keep living like this. I’ve got three therapists. [In his lawsuit, Jones alleges Combs threatened him with physical harm.] Everybody saw the video of Cassie. This is who I’m dealing with.”

How Lil Rod describes Diddy:

LR- “He’s (Diddy) a monster. He’ll do whatever is necessary to get exactly what he wants. He doesn’t take no for an answer. He [told me] himself, ‘I’ll smack my mama.’ Anybody who can say that even jokingly is a monster. He’s nothing to be played with. For a person whose brand is Love Records, and changed their name to Love and named their kid Love, he doesn’t show love. He’s just marketing.”

On being “blackballed” in music industry after filing lawsuit against Diddy:

LR- “It’s been very, very tough. Because of this lawsuit, most people don’t want to come near working with me for whatever reasons, whether they’ve been in partnership with Puff or they want to just sit back and see what happens. He’s a gatekeeper in the music industry. In this industry, to be successful, you have to have worked with someone like him or Jay-Z, Dr. Dre, Kanye or 50 Cent. So many people I’ve worked with have had business deals with him. I reached out to try to get a deal for my album, and people don’t want to get involved.”

Lil Rod explains how his Diddy-lawsuit backlash has sparked suicidal thoughts within him:

LR- “It feels like there are so many people quietly rooting for [Combs]. Or maybe they’re rooting for me and just scared to say something. Here I am standing up for justice, for what I believe is right for my life, and I’m being punished for that. I’m blackballed, for sure. I’ve had many nights and weeks and months of suicidal thoughts. It’s the music that has kept me living all my life.”

When asked in which city he resides, Lil Rod refused to answer out of fear of retaliation:

LR- “For safety reasons, I’m not saying. There have been too many people trying to figure out where I’m at. I moved locations, moved states. Everything is private. My mom doesn’t even know where I live. It’s been like that pretty much all year.”

Why Diddy’s Lawyer Filed Motion To Dismiss Lil Rod’s Lawsuit

On Monday, August 26, 2024, Diddy’s lawyer, Erica Wolff, filed a motion on Diddy’s behalf, to have Lil Rod’s case dismissed.

Via RS– “Mr. Jones’ lawsuit is pure fiction – a shameless attempt to create media hype and extract a quick settlement,” Combs’ lawyer Erica Wolff, said in a statement Monday after filing a new motion to dismiss Jones’ amended 98-page complaint. “There was no RICO conspiracy and Mr. Jones was not threatened, groomed, assaulted, or trafficked. We look forward to proving – in a court of law – that all of Mr. Jones’s claims are made-up and must be dismissed.”

50 Cent Goes Off On Son’s Mom Over ‘Sex Worker’ Allegations

The allegations against Daphne came to light when Rodney Jones, accused her of being involved with the Bad Boy mogul. This caught 50 Cent’s attention, and he wasted no time in taking to Instagram to voice his thoughts. He posted a photo of Diddy and Daphne together at what seemed to be a vacation destination of some sort, captioning it with this:

“I didn’t know you was a sex worker, you little sex worker. LOL”

Daphne Joy Makes Serious Accusations Against 50 Cent

Obviously that prompted a fiery response from Daphne. She hit back at 50, accusing him of rape and physical abuse. In a post of her own, she claimed:

“Let’s put the real focus on your true evil actions of raping me and physically abusing me.”

These shocking allegations have now prompted 50 Cent to take legal action to protect their 12-year-old son, Sire.

In response to the claims made against Daphne, 50 Cent told TMZ:

“The disturbing allegations in the sworn pleadings recently filed in a court case related to Daphne Joy, the mother of my twelve-year-old child, has required me to take all necessary legal actions to protect my son Sire.”

He emphasized that his son’s safety is his main priority and that seeking sole custody is his primary focus.

This Is Likely Far From Over

This feud between 50 Cent and Daphne Joy appears to be fueled by his ongoing tensions with Diddy. Ever since Cassie, Diddy’s ex-girlfriend, filed a lawsuit against him in early 2024, 50 has been relentless in his attacks. The recent federal raids at Diddy’s homes only added fuel to the fire.

While the status of Diddy and Daphne’s relationship remains unclear, their alleged romantic involvement seems to have stung 50 somethin’ serious! He’s now referring to her as “little sex worker” on his social media page.

In response to Rodney Jone’s allegations, Daphne vehemently denies being a sex worker, calling it a false claim and character assassination. She has enlisted the help of an attorney and intends to explore all legal remedies against Rodney and his attorney.

As this heated battle continues to unfold, it’s clear that this is not just another celebrity feud. The claims and counterclaims being thrown around involve serious allegations that demand careful examination and resolution. Before we get started, here’s a disclaimer: If Diddy and/or any other associated party are factually proven guilty of any of the allegations against them, they should be legally held accountable for them, just like any other citizen…as long as they are proven to be factual allegations. Now, let’s get into this latest one.

As the Diddy-investigation continues to play out with more twists and turns than an action-packed mob movie, here is yet another one…and this time, it has many questioning the motive behind it.

Why Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones Is Now Also Suing Cuba Gooding Jr.

As y’all already know, former Bad Boy producer, Rodney Jones a.k.a. Lil Rod, filed a lawsuit against Diddy in February 2024, which is reportedly part of the reason why the Feds recently raided Diddy’s homes.  Anywho, apparently on the same day Diddy’s homes were raided in L.A. and Miami, Lil Rod amended his lawsuit by adding actor, Cuba Gooding Jr., as a defendant. Now, this could get a bit confusing due to Rodney’s prior filing, which also included Cuba’s name, so let us explain…

In his initial lawsuit filing, Rodney claimed that Diddy and Cuba made sexual advances toward him. However, he’d originally mostly accused Diddy and solely sued him for allegedly sexually harassing, drugging, and threatening him for over a year. At that time, Rodney had only claimed that Cuba supposedly made unwelcome advances –allegedly touching and groping him inappropriately– during an event on Diddy’s rented yacht.

Now, approximately one month after his initial filing, Rodney has circled back around to not just sue Diddy, but also Cuba Gooding Jr. Why? Because in his amendment, Rodney claims Cuba “began touching, groping, and fondling [his] legs, his upper inner thighs near his groin, the small of his back near his buttocks, and his shoulders” while on a yacht Diddy rented in 2023, in the U.S. Virgin Islands.

Several Questionable Moves That Made Fans Question Rodney Jones’ Allegations/Lawsuit

Several of Rodney’s legal moves against Diddy have been seemingly questionable, which could ultimately hurt the credibility of his case, and prevent him from getting justice, if there are in fact injustices that he actually did endure in this scenario. Here are a few:

In Rodney’s lawsuit, he and/or his legal team alleged that Diddy and his son, Justin Combs (30), partied with underaged females and/or prostitutes.

Rodney and team also reportedly included photos, in the lawsuit, of the supposed underaged female(s) at the party (with their faces blacked out in the images), interacting with Diddy and Justin. Only problem is that two of the females whose faces they’d blacked out in the images – presumably to allude that they were underage – have since been confirmed to be full-fledged adults. One of the women is Justin Combs’ 32-year-old girlfriend/Fashion Nova model, Stephanie Rao (pictured below standing behind Justin).

The other woman, Chelsea, spoke out and submitted photos of herself, to TMZ, wearing the same outfit she had on in the lawsuit’s ‘party photos’, but did not want to be identified because she is a mother and wants to keep her privacy. However, she wanted to come forward to confirm that she is a 33-year-old woman…far from underaged.

Just a few weeks prior to Rodney filing his sexual assault lawsuit against Diddy in February 2024, he’d started a GoFundMe campaign, asking the public to ‘help him sue Diddy.’ At the time, he made no mention of sexual assault allegations (swipe left on video below), and instead said he wanted to sue Diddy for ‘unpaid royalties’ and ‘publishing rights’ from Diddy’s Grammy-nominated, “The Love Album: Off The Grid” album. Rodney’s initial goal was reportedly to raise $50,000, and he’d apparently only reached about $1,500 of that goal. Then, he’d apparently suddenly found the rest of the money he needed to sue Diddy, except in his lawsuit he had a new reason for doing so– because he said Diddy sexually assaulted, drugged, and threatened him in the past. So that switch-up also made fans question his motive.

Rodney also claimed that Diddy showed him a sex tape of Stevie J with another male (of which Rodney and/or his legal team reportedly inaccurately submitted a screenshot of as ‘evidence’ in his lawsuit), but that turned out to be proven false. The person Rodney had apparently mistaken as Stevie J — a gay adult film star named Knockout — publicly confirmed that was in fact him in a scene from a professional adult film he’d starred in, not Stevie J.

Rodney’s Lawyer Spoke Out In His Defense

Rodney’s lawyer, Tyrone Blackburn, responded to the many questions the public had after noticing several perceived holes within Rodney’s story, stating “Victims of sexual assault respond to their trauma in very different ways. There is no uniformity in response to sexual trauma.” Blackburn also maintains that Rodney is being truthful.

This All Comes After Cassie’s Lawsuit

It’s worth noting that several accusers have come for Diddy with claims of either sexual or physical abuse soon after his ex-girlfriend, Cassie, successfully settled with Diddy just 24 hours after she hit him with a reportedly $30 million assault-lawsuit in early 2024.

Diddy Says It’s A “Witch Hunt”

For what it’s worth…Diddy has since spoken out – via his lawyer – and stated that the government is on a “witch hunt” to attempt to bring him down.

Said All This To Say…

Now, I’ve said all this to say, that if Diddy is in fact guilty of any of the multiple sexual assault/trafficking allegations against him…then, yes, he absolutely should pay the price for his alleged crimes, just like any other citizen. I just hope that whatever crimes he is found guilty of –if any– are actually crimes he really committed. Sending uplifting energy and love to all victims of assault.
