One thing people can count on is Trina’s outspokenness. Since her debut, she has always been bold, sexy, and unapologetic about who she is and what she wants. However, in recent years, Trina has become less abrasive with her approach and showcasing a softer side. This change has caused a rift between her and her mentor, rapper Trick Daddy. In a recent interview with The Breakfast Club, Trina opens up about her most recent feud with Trick and how it has affected their relationship to this day.

Many will remember when Trina burst onto the scene on Trick Daddy’s classic hit “Nann.” Her rap content was reminiscent to fellow rappers, Lil’ Kim and Foxy Brown, yet Trina was different. Her vibe had a Miami-flavored twist. Plus, with lyrics that matched Trick’s, the two of them created an instant classic.

Trina has always credited Trick as one of her closet friends in the game. However, their friendship spiraled into decline during their time on Love & Hip Hop: Miami. And it all came crashing down during the reunion show.

We were over 25 when Trina’s first album “Da Baddest B!t#h” was starting to hit the airwaves. Many of us were looking for the picket white fences, and a little one, while Trina was about 19 years old and she was the flip mouth southern princess and was the self proclaimed baddest b!t#h.  So now the Diamond Princess is looking to slow things up a bit. Although her wordplay is still classic Trina, which is raw and straight to the point, you can hear her emotions peeking thru.
