Bench Warrant Issued For Tyga’s Arrest After Missing Court Hearing

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA — Tyga is now a wanted man after getting into some legal trouble years ago that followed him into the new year.

According to TMZ, the “Girls Have Fun” rapper was scheduled to appear in court on Wednesday, March 6, but he failed to do so, and a judge issued a bench warrant for his arrest.

The warrant apparently stems from a lawsuit against Tyga and his California music company.

Back in 2015, a woman named Shyanne Riekena claimed to have sustained serious injuries to her head after a light stand reportedly fell on her during a Tyga concert in Michigan.

She said the injury left her with multiple stitches.

$235,000 Judgement

Riekena sued the 29-year-old and his company, and she won $235,000.

That amount rose to $250,000 by 2017 when Tyga allegedly failed to make a single payment.

It is unclear why Tyga did not make any payments.

According to one of his reps, Tyga was unable to attend court because he had a work obligation that prevented him from doing so.

Apparently, that is no excuse to miss out on a court. Tyga received a default judge, who not only issued a bench warrant for his arrest, but the judge set his bond at $250,000. Let’s hope he has enough money in his bank account to post bail and doesn’t need the help of a fan like R. Kelly — allegedly.

There is no word on whether or not Tyga turned himself in or if he is going to.

Finanical Struggles

Furthermore, it seems as if Tyga has been undergoing financial struggles.

Do you remember the rap star making headlines last week about getting kicked out of a club, where Floyd Mayweather was hosting his 42nd birthday party?

Tyga was seen on camera being dragged out of the club, and he attempted to take a gun from his security guard but was unsuccessful.

Well, that supposedly stemmed from an argument he had with the owners of a vehicle he began renting in 2016.

Apparently, Tyga fell behind on a few payments and they repossessed the 2012 Ferrari 458 Spider and a 2012 Rolls-Royce Ghost.

Tyga purportedly became angry and claims they unlawfully repossessed the vehicle.

On another note, Floyd didn’t seem too bothered by the incident.

He said, “I don’t care that Tyga got in a fight in my party. Guess what? It was good publicity for my party!”
