‘The View’ Fans Think “Something Serious” Is Going On With Whoopi Goldberg’s Illness

Whoopi Goldberg has been missing in action for over 1 month from ‘The View’. We know that she’s been dealing with an illness since she’s been off beginning  February 5 – but now, fans are getting very concerned.

Whoopi serves as the show’s moderator, and usually holds it down when things get crazy. But Joy Behar has stepped in as the head moderator, and she’s said many times, at the beginning of each show, that Whoopi is recovering from pneumonia.

But fans are growing concerned.

Recent Heartbreaking Loss

We’ve all just went through the heartbreaking loss of Kim Porter. Young and vibrant at age 47 to lobar pneumonia. Porter had been suffering from flu-like symptoms for days at the time of her death. The coroner’s report, said that Porter had been suffering from the illness and had died as a result of it – natural causes.

After rumors began to spread that Whoopi was purposefully taking a break from the talk show to prepare for hosting the 2019 Oscars, Joy clarified that there was absolutely no truth to these claims.

“She’s actually recovering from pneumonia. That’s what she had. It’s a serious thing,” Joy said on an episode in late February. “She’s not really even well enough to host this show right now, much less the Oscars. I saw her last night and she’s very funny still and we had big laughs. She’s getting there.”

Fans Are Concerned

Fans are still so concerned for Whoopi’s condition.

“Im just saying i started really thinking something serious. It started after Joy AGAIN trying to pacify us. When Joy was done, her face said it all and for me she looked worr and concerned. Us View and Whoopi  lovers are damned concerned. We’re f in worried. Love and healing .”

“Now I’m really worried knowing it went to pneumonia! Please take good care, we are all missing you and your voice of wisdom,”one fan wrote.

“Whoopiiiiii! Whoopiíii! Ohhhhh Whoopi. I miss you. Come back. Come back. PLEASE!”

Someone else said, “Whoopi Goldberg must have something serious going on.” Another tweeted, “I hope that you are ok.. and I am praying for you… I Truly Miss You and the Show is not the same without you.”

We hope Whoopi feels better.

She said she’s always loved that her mother gave her the hardcore truth and after the scandal her mom told her she was “too trusting [of others] just like her Father,” (referring to Vanessa was talked into doing the Penthouse spread by those she trusted, only to immediately realize she’d “made a mistake”)
