Weeks After Cosby Mistrial, Judge Shuts Down Another Accuser In Court..Here’s Why..

Posted On : July 2, 2017

In the ongoing drama that has turned into the life of Bill Cosby, yet another sexual assault accuser of his has just gotten shut down in court, after a Massachusetts judge dismissed her case. This reportedly is the fourth case (NOT including the recent mistrial in the Andrea Constand vs. Cosby case) that has gotten tossed out in favor of Cosby.

The reason is because those cases and claims either lack sufficient evidence to back up their accusations and/or do not hold any weight in a pending claim against him regarding sexual assault.

Accuser’s Claims That Were Dismissed By Judge

This time around, the accuser is an actress by the name of Angela Leslie, who said she was 26 years old at the time she alleges that Cosby sexually assaulted her at a Las Vegas hotel suite in 1992. She did not come forth with her claim until 2014, when other women made similar claims.

Cosby’s accuser, Angela Leslie

In her court filing, she claimed that Cosby didn’t necessarily attack her, but that he put her hand ‘where it wasn’t supposed to be’ and attempted to climb on top of her during her one on one visit with him to discuss acting opportunities. After Leslie says she “pushed” Cosby away from her, he proceeded to act like he needed to place a phone call and asked her to leave his hotel room so he could do so. See part of hr statement below:

Via AOL: “I had not been raped. He didn’t physically hurt me. He took my hand and put it where it shouldn’t have been,” Leslie said. “He actually did try to get on top of me, but I was able to push him off and he actually kind of fell onto the floor. And he asked me to leave his room because he pretended to get a phone call. I never heard a phone ring but I think he was embarrassed that I was able to push him down and that’s why he dismissed me from his room.”

Cosby’s Tweet About Case Dismissal

The judge in Leslie’s case did not feel like she had enough meat to her story, so it was tossed a couple days ago. Cosby’s team then posted the official dismissal court doc to his Twitter page the other day:

We salute the incredible people and beautiful memories of that "old school". We’re not saying that every artist and every facet of the soul era was perfect, but the artists’ contributions to soul music and the old school memories of that particular time are PRICELESS.
