Breaking: Jazz/Soul Legend Al Jarreau Sadly Passes Away At 76, Details…
Sad news to report ILoveOldSchoolMusic family. Today, February, 12, 2017, we lost a great legend in the world of jazz and R&B soul music, Al Jarreau at the age of 76. He’s best known for his many hits, including “We’re In This Love Together,” “After All,” and more.
Details are still coming in as to what caused his death, but so far, here’s what we know:
Via TMZ: Al Jarreau, famed R&B and jazz singer died Sunday morning … according to his reps. The 7-time Grammy winner had been hospitalized recently. Amid his medical battle … he had announced he would be retiring. A message on his website says he passed away while in the hospital. Just last week, Al’s son said his father was singing “Moonlighting” to one of his nurses.
