After “The View” host, Sherri Sheperd, posted her frantic video outside of comedian/actor, Ricky Harris,’ funeral in Long Beach, CA, showing that a fight had broken out involving Snoop Dogg, we were like ‘What the hell is wrong with some people, they had a fight at the funeral?!!’ And now, after seeing new video footage of the actual fight (scroll down to watch it) and learning the REAL truth about what went down between Snoop Dogg and another dude at the service, it’s brought better clarity to the chaotic situation…
(VIDEO) CHAOS AT RICKY HARRIS' FUNERAL & THE TRUTH BEHIND IT
Apparently Ricky Harris' mentally challenged cousin did try to charge Snoop at the funeral, but never laid his hands on Snoop because when a man is worth tens of millions of dollars, he's clearly gonna be protected by many...literally. It turns out Snoop's homie, rapper Daz Dillinger (of Da Dogg Pound; pictured above with Snoop), was the first to jump up and go at it with Ricky's cousin and then the bodyguard jumped on the dude and all hell broke loose after that.
But was Daz's and Snoop's bodyguard wrong for their reactions? No, it doesn't seem that way, because although the attacker is mentally challenged, he still was reportedly charging toward Snoop, so Daz and the bodyguard had no choice but to react first and ask questions later. It's just unfortunate that it had to happen inside of Ricky Harris' funeral, but they had to do what they had to do in the spur of the moment... Here's what was recently reported by All Hip Hop:
A fight broke out during the deceased comedian’s funeral on Tuesday (January 4), when a man who turned out to be Ricky Harris’ cousin attempted to rush snoop. The man got too close to Snoop and called him a “bi##h ass n##ga,” before Daz Dillinger and another associate of Snoop’s immediately intervened. The rap star’s bodyguard eventually threw Harris’s cousin out of the funeral.
