Wow! 1st Glance Of Bobbi Kristina Biopic Released &It’ll Make U Do A Double Take

Posted On : April 29, 2017

When news first spread that there was a Bobbi Kristina biopic in the works, many fans took to social media to voice their likes and dislikes about that idea. Some said it was way too soon after Bobbi’s July 2015 passing, to create such a thing. While others voiced suspicions that every network around was about to start ‘copying off of’ the success of BET’s The New Edition Story. Then there were others who expressed their anticipation to watch the biopic document the life of Whitney Houston’s and Bobby Brown’s beloved daughter.

The good news for TV One, is that after some fans who were against it, had heard that it was actually them producing the biopic, they had a change of heart. Why so? Because there is now the expectation that since the network is Black owned, it may put a great deal of respect and tastefulness into the depiction of Bobbi Kristina’s life, as opposed to just an irresponsible exploitation of it. So yeah, the pressure is on for the TV One now, because if it comes out anything like some other biopics out here, such as Lifetime’s Wendy Williams-produced Aaliyah biopic a while back, then they’ll never live that one down.

Anyways, TV One has just released their first look at the biopic and the photo they dropped of the three actors who will portray Bobby Brown, Whitney Houston, and Bobbi Kristina, will make you think you’re seeing the real life version, at first glance…at least it did for many of us here at the ILOSM.
