5 Of Prince’s Rarely Seen Siblings Go To Court For Estate Hearing (Pics)

Posted On : May 2, 2016

Today (5-2-16) is the day that officially began the divvying up process of the late, great Prince’s $300 million estate. Since there isn’t a will, five of Prince’s six siblings had to attend an estate hearing this morning to approve that the bank Prince’s sister, Tyka Nelson, requested (which is also Prince’s long-time bank), Bremer Trust, would officially be handling the matters of his estate for now. All of the siblings agreed to “openly communicate” and Carver County District Judge, Kevin Eide, appointed Bremer Trust as the executor of Prince’s estate in a hearing that lasted about 12 minutes. It’s probably going to be a while before any money is distributed, but for the first time, we can at least finally see recent photos of all of Prince’s living siblings, with the exception of one – his half brother, John Nelson, couldn’t make today’s hearing. About I Love Old School Music

We salute the incredible people and beautiful memories of that "old school". We’re not saying that every artist and every facet of the soul era was perfect, but the artists’ contributions to soul music and the old school memories of that particular time are PRICELESS.
