Jackson 5 legend, Jermaine Jackson, reportedly announced plans to tie the knot with his much younger girlfriend. Jermaine was once in an alleged toxic relationship with Halima Rashid, but Halima filed for divorce in June 2016. Now, it appears that Jermaine has found love in the arms of his ‘tender-roni’ bae.

Jermaine Jackson, 63, Plans To Marry His 23-Year-Old Girlfriend:

Still rockin’ in their sixties, Marlon, Jermaine, Tito and Jackie Jackson have been performing their Jackson 5 hits overseas. While performing in Mallorca, Spain, Jermaine Jackson shared with The Dutch newspaper, De Telegraaf, that he plans to marry his 23 year-old model girlfriend, Maday Velazquez. He is 40 years her senior, but apparently for Jermaine, age ain’t nothin’ but a number. Despite the fact that Velazquez is young enough to be his grandbaby, he still plans on making her Mrs. Jackson.

Jermaine started dating his bride-to-be shortly after his separation from his estranged wife, Halima Rashid. Jermaine called it quits on their 12-year marriage, months after Halima’s domestic violence arrest.

“We are going to get married soon,” Jermaine explained to the European publication according to Radar Online. 

Jermaine Jackson is no stranger to marriage, as this would be his 4th time down the aisle.  He’s been married three times and has seven children. His first marriage was to Motown founder Berry Gordy’s daughter, Hazel Gordy, from December 15, 1973 until 1988. With Hazel, he has three children: Jermaine La Juane “Jay” Jackson Jr., Autumn Joi Jackson and Jaimy Jermaine Jackson. After their divorce, he began a relationship with Alejandra Genevieve Oaziaza while she was dating his younger brother, Randy, with whom she has a daughter and twin sons. He married Oaziaza on March 18, 1995 and the marriage lasted until May 19, 2003. They have two sons: Jaafar Jermiah Jackson and Jermajesty Jermaine Jackson. In January 2004, Jackson met Halima Rashid while in line at Starbucks. After knowing her for a very short time, in March of 2004, he proposed to her and five months later, they got married in a mosque in Los Angeles, CA.

Jermain’s faild marriages are no secret. What might surprise some, is that during his marriage to Hazel, he dated Margaret Maldonado and father two more children – Jeremy Maldonado Jackson and Jourdynn Michael Jackson. Maldonado thought that Jermaine Jackson was going to be her Prince Charming, but she soon learned that he was already married to someone else.

The Ultimate Divorce

After years of cheating and lies, Jermaine’s first wife, Hazel, became fed up with him and filed for divorce in October of 1987, just months after their third child was born in March of 1987. However, Margaret continued her relationship with Jermaine and they had a second son, Jourdynn Michael Jackson, on January 9th 1989. Once Jermaine was divorced from Hazel, he never married Margaret. Oddly, she became friends with Hazel. The NY Daily News reported that the then new besties spent time discussing Jermaine’s relationship with Alejandra -his brother Randy’s ex-wife. Jermaine divorced Alejandra in 2004, leaving the divorce papers behind in the house as he went on tour.

Age oftentimes creates wisdom within a person. Maybe now that Jermaine has had a chance to sew his royal oats, he’ll settle in with his younger boo. It it possible that the 4th time is the charm?
