After Fallout w/ Braxtons, Iyanla Vanzant Goes Completely Off About Tamar Braxton

Posted On : October 9, 2018

A couple of weeks ago, Tamar Braxton made headlines after her massive fallout with Iyanla Vanzant. For those who missed all the drama, the Braxtons reached out to Iyanla to fix their lives, amid all of their controversy and confusion.

If you’ve ever seen the OWN television show “Iyanla Vanzant: Fix My Life,” then you know Iylana don’t play when it comes to tellin’ people about themselves when they’re wrong. Apparently, that’s what happened when she and Tamar crossed paths. But of course, Tamar wasn’t tryin’ to hear anything Iyanla had to say.

The so-called intervention took a quick turn for the worst when Iyanla and Tamar bumped heads and the singer/reality star quickly took to social media to blast Iyanla. However, Iyanla reportedly isn’t lettin’ Tamar get away with the verbal antics.

Iyanla Claps Back:

Now, we all know Tamar has done most of the talkin’ in this situation, but now Iyanla is reportedly the one speaking out. An insider close to the lawyer/therapist has shared her opinion of the situation with Tamar. Apparently, Iyanla believes Tamar will eventually self-destruct.

“Iyanla feels like Tamar craves attention and she’ll eventually destroy her own life and continue to damage her family’s relationships with one another… She doesn’t think that reality TV is a good place for her. She thinks that she might not be well. Iyanla wants Tamar to get some help.”

For those who missed the “Braxton Family Values” finale on Thursday, October 4, it actually included clips from the Braxtons’ explosive session with Iyanla. When Iyanla criticized Tamar, the singer quickly clapped back and refused to back down.

“You really don’t quit with this name-calling,” Braxton told the host of OWN’s “Iyanla Fix My Life” on the BVF finale Thursday, Oct. 4. “I’m not here for that. ‘I now want to be seen?’ You really gotta watch your mouth… who talks to me like that? Who talks to anybody like that?”

On Another Note…:

The latest reports about Iyanla follow Tamar’s recent comments. Over the weekend, the singer did a live stream to discuss her new stage play with Snoop Dogg called Redemption of a Dogg. While many fans were intrigued about the play, quite a few others wanted to know more about her beef with Iyanla. According to Atlanta Black Star, the singer made it clear she didn’t care to discuss the fallout with Iyanla, but she ultimately said a few words about the situation.

“Iyanla tho!!!” someone said.

“I don’t want to talk about her, I don’t,” Braxton says. “You can’t — you know how sometimes you can’t give nobody no more? I can’t give you no more. Get it from somebody else ’cause it’s not from me. I really can’t because it is what it is and I really don’t want to go back, but that’s all I’ma say about that.”

Check out the live stream footage:

Prior to the live stream, Tamar made headlines when she went off about Iyanla. After walking out of the family session with Iyanla, Tamar took to social media and called her everything but a child of God.

According to The Jasmine Brand, Tamar made all kinds of comments, “referring to Iyanla as a ‘fake’ and a ‘fraud’ could have serious implications on the casting process for ‘Iyanla: Fix My Life’ and her reputation in general.”

Several reports suggested Iyanla would be filing a defamation lawsuit against Tamar for her previous comments, but that rumor has yet to be confirmed.

About I Love Old School Music

We salute the incredible people and beautiful memories of that "old school". We’re not saying that every artist and every facet of the soul era was perfect, but the artists’ contributions to soul music and the old school memories of that particular time are PRICELESS.
