Iyanla Vanzant Set To Fix The Braxtons Until Tamar Reportedly Blows Up The Spot

Posted On : September 5, 2018

Just because the Braxtons are reality TV stars in the limelight, it doesn’t mean they don’t face real family problems behind closed doors. As a matter of fact, the problems are reportedly so bad, they’re enlisting the help of Iyanla Vanzant. However, everyone may not be on board.

According to EURWeb, the Braxton sisters will be featured on an upcoming episode of Iyanla Vanzant: Fix My Life, but Tamar probably won’t be anywhere around. Apparently, the famed singer/reality TV star is butting heads with Iyanla and we all know Iyanla isn’t one to back down. Latest reports have even revealed details about an explosive argument between Tamar and Iyanla that ended with Tamar storming off the set.

The Devil?

It has been reported that the ladies sought the help of Iyanla after quitting their show Braxton Family Values. For those who missed that drama, everyone except Traci Braxton and Phaedra Parks have walked away from the popular WeTV series for multiple reasons. But regardless of their abrupt departure from the show, one thing will always remain the same: they’ll still be sisters at the end of the day.

Like most people who seek help from Iyanla, the Braxtons were in search of spiritual and emotional guidance to mend their relationships. However, several reports have revealed the ladies’ meeting with Iyanla has actually made things worse.

According to Atlanta Black Star, an inside source has revealed the entire Braxton family – Towanda Braxton, Toni Braxton, Trina Braxton, Tamar Braxton, Traci Braxton and even their parents Evelyn and Michael Braxton – attended the meeting with Iyanla last week.

“There’s no word on what happened with the situation, but they are pressing on to film ‘Iyanla Fix My Life’ this week and the ‘Braxton Family Values’ production cameras will be present as well,” the insider reportedly said at the time. “They’re hoping that Iyanla can help the family get back to loving each other and supporting one another.”

The session was anything but productive though. In fact, it was so bad, it reportedly ended with Tamar describing Iyanla as “the devil.” The ladies are reportedly set to appear on an upcoming episode of Iyanla’s OWN TV show, but the insider claims clips of the explosive meeting could be shared online at any time if one of the Braxtons decides to post about it.

Blindsided:

The latest news follows Tamar’s last outburst about Phaedra Parks being added to the show. Although Tamar’s outspoken nature and brash opinions often lead to opposition and criticism from fans, most people can’t help but agree with her where Phaedra is concerned. Despite being a major contributor to Braxton Family Values and the show coming to fruition, Tamar revealed she was blindsided when it came to Phaedra Parks being added to the show. Needless to say, she definitely wasn’t pleased. Although she made it clear she has “nothing against Phaedra,” she doesn’t think she should have been added to a cast that consisted of only family members.

“I financed [the show] and it’s like, what’s jacked up is the lack of respect. And no one should be blindsided,” Tamar explained on Instagram Live last month. “No one should have somebody else on the show that they didn’t approve of and didn’t work hard for. And I haven’t seen any episodes — please don’t ask me. I have nothing against Phaedra.”

Hopefully, the ladies get back on the same page in the near future. Regardless of their business problems, they’re still family. Best of luck to the Braxtons.
