TGT Member, Tank, FINALLY Speaks On Tyrese & Ginuwine Beef!

Posted On : December 29, 2015

fb tank and tgtEver since Tyrese and Ginuwine had that big blowout on Instagram a few weeks ago over the status of their 3 man group, TGT, and who’s to blame for their breakup, the third group member, Tank, has been quiet as a mouse about the feud. Recently he finally decided to offer a few words (literally only a few words) about his thoughts on his fellow group members beefing.

TMZ ran into Tank at the LAX airport when asked about the Tyrese and Ginuwine feud, Tank said “What you see is the result of grown men having a conversation. A little bit of it spilled over into the internet, which is not cool, but it is what it is at this point.”

When asked if he had plans on reuniting with TGT, Tank said “It’s not my focus right now…I’m perfect, I’m perfect on my own.”

Check out Tank’s response below…

We know what some of you are thinking: ‘That’s all Tank had to say?!!’ We felt the same way too, but I guess he doesn’t really owe any of us an explanation about what’s going on with his group though, so it’s all good. The only problem is that TGT fans are still left hanging in the win if they’re still waiting on a TGT reunion…much like the relationship between Tyrese and Ginuwine.

tgtAll we can do now is reminisce back to the recent times when it looked like TGT was on their way to not only saving R&B, but bringing R&B groups back from that musical graveyard again. Ah well, that hope is now dead…AGAIN.

Fun fact about TGT: They go way back- Tank, Ginuwine and Tyrese were best friends for over a decade. Tyrese was actually the best man at Ginuwine’s wedding! All of their children are close with each other. Tank wrote on most of Tyrese’s albums and Ginuwine was the one who put Tank in the music game, because Tank started out singing backup for Ginuwine. Can you believe that? With that type of history between them, there has to be a way these brothas can squash their beef soon, because obviously the love they have for each other is real. Watch TGT discuss their bond in this 2013 interview, but don’t hold your breathe for that reunion…
