We’d like to start this article off with a big congratulations to Brandy’s brother/Love & Hip Hop reality star, Ray J. and his wife, Princess Love. During his Monday morning interview on The Real talk show Ray J announced that he and Princess are finally expecting a little mini-me.

Ray J’s Pregnancy Announcement

“Love is on my mind. Love is in my heart. Princess and I are expecting,” said Ray J, as the audience gave him a big round of applause.

If you tuned in to season 4 of Love & Hip Hop, then you witnessed the newlyweds chronicling their fertility struggles on the show. For a while, Ray J thought he had a low sperm count, until going to a doctor, during the show’s filming, to get his ‘swimmers’ tested. Turned out, he didn’t have a low sperm count and he and Princess continued to try to get pregnant.

Eventually, they had success and once they hit the end of their first trimester, Ray J and Princess were both ready to confirm the news to the world. Although Ray J confirmed his on television, Princess opted to do so online, but not before checkin’ their L&HH co-star, Moniece Slaughter.

The Brandy Drama

After Ray J broke the news, Moniece took to Instagram to respond to a fan’s question about Princess’ and Ray J’s pregnancy. In addition to simply answering the question, Moniece also further sparked the rumor that many have wondered about Brandy’s new thick-a-licious frame. The fan asked Ms. Slaughter, “Is Brandy the surrogate [?] Because I wish they’d just say she’s pregnant already.” The L&HH star, never one to filter her words, replied, “Yes. I already told y’all she was.”

After seeing Moniece’s claims, Princess Love decided to hit back with  a few jabs of her own. First Princess showed off a photo of her baby bump (which many still denounced as her simply being bloated and what-not), with a caption that read:

“It’s such a blessing from God to be able to carry our child. We kept this to ourselves until after the first trimester because it’s bad luck to announce too early. But we’re so proud to share this journey with you guys. Thank you for all of the love and prayers ❤️”

Then, according to Fameolous, Mrs. Ray J followed up with clap-backs directed at Moniece’s ‘surrogate mother’ shade:

Following her clap back Moniece did NOT stop and proceeded to elaborate on her claims even further in a comment to The Shade Room…this time, she even threw her mother into the mix:

Brandy has yet to respond to the nonsense, but y’all already know she’s just as outspoken as Princess and Moniece are. So it may just be a matter of time before she, too, decides to address Ms. Slaughter’s weight gain shade and baby rumors. In the word’s of the late Rodney King, “Can’t we all just get along?”
