Beyoncé just lit the internet on fire with her latest Instagram posts dedicated to the “Original Queen B.”

As you can see from her Instagram page, Queen Bey posted portraits of herself wearing Lil Kim-inspired costumes for Halloween. In a series of images, she has made the Internet (and Lil’ Kim) go crazy.

Via Beyoncé’s website, she states, “Hip Hop would not be the same without our original Queen B.

Although the images were posted to her website first, Instagram has shown mad love for Beyoncé and her photo tribute to Lil’ Kim.

Likewise, fans are excited to see her wearing black hair again, as shown in the top photo. Maybe they had forgotten how good she looks in any color. Literally, any color.

To this photo, Lil’ Kim had these words to say.

“Lawwwwddddd, my wig is all the way in China!!! SLAYED! You did that B!”

However, Bey wasn’t alone in her photos. Jay Z also joined his lady as Biggie…mannerisms and all.

Lil’ Kim and Biggie were the dynamic duo of their time. And now, both Beyoncé and Jay sought to pay them homage for their massive influence in the game.

Lil’ Kim responded to Bey’s portrayal as follows.

“Beyonce the resemblance is crazy!! Match made in heaven. Every single detail is on point! I love you to pieces Bey.”

In all, Beyoncé chose to replicate five of Lil’ Kim’s looks. Via Bey’s website, she had the words “It ain’t over till Yonce” written across each photo.

With that being said, is there a possible Beyoncé and Lil Kim collab on the way?

About I Love Old School Music

We salute the incredible people and beautiful memories of that "old school". We’re not saying that every artist and every facet of the soul era was perfect, but the artists’ contributions to soul music and the old school memories of that particular time are PRICELESS.
