Bill Cosby is currently serving three to 10 years behind bars for drugging and sexually assaulting a woman at his gated estate in 2004. But the 81-year-old didn’t let being locked up at Pennsylvania Department of Corrections stop him wishing his wife happy birthday. Cosby was mocked on Twitter for somehow posting a gushing message for his wife Camille on her 75th birthday.

“You’re A Loving Wife”

“Happy 75th Birthday to my beautiful bride, Camille,” the tweet reads. “Dear, you’re a wonderful mother, loving wife, but most importantly, you’re the strength of this family. Please celebrate your day!”

The post included hashtags #FreeBillCosby and #FarFromFinished – in reference to his last tour. It also included pictures of the couple throughout their almost 55-year marriage.

In a statement after her husband was sent to prison, Camille slammed the prosecutors and the media calling it “mob justice.”

“Once again, an innocent person has been found guilty based on an unthinking, unquestioning, unconstitutional frenzy propagated by the media and allowed to play out in a supposed court of law,” Cosby said in a three-page statement. This is mob justice, not real justice. This tragedy must be undone not just for Bill Cosby, but for the country.”

It was revealed in February, that Cosby told his wife and children not to visit him in prison. He asked that they not be caught up “in that environment” and avoid the possible “media circus.”

About I Love Old School Music

We salute the incredible people and beautiful memories of that "old school". We’re not saying that every artist and every facet of the soul era was perfect, but the artists’ contributions to soul music and the old school memories of that particular time are PRICELESS.
