With Arrival Of New Baby, Tyrese Reveals Why Eldest Daughter Is Absent From Posts
Now, we all know Tyrese has a habit with posting lots of things he probably shouldn’t. Sometimes Tyrese’s ranting posts get a bit too personal and he goes off the deep end; but there’s one personal aspect of his life you won’t find on social media. The “Stay” singer recently explained why fans rarely see his oldest daughter, Shayla, in his posts.
All the drama started when Tyrese shared a series of posts following the birth of his second daughter, Soraya, last week.
A Beautiful Gift:
For those who missed it, Tyrese and his wife, Samantha, welcomed their first child together – Soraya Lee Gibson. The excited singer took to Instagram with several photos and videos documenting the baby’s birth.
After she was born, he shared a video where he could be heard saying, “Your name is Soraya Lee Gibson. The Lord Jesus Christ is your savior. Your mother, your mother is one of the strongest women in the World. You are an angel and I’m going to protect you for the rest of my life. Forever. I love you. You’re a champion. You’re pure. You’re beautiful. You’re a gift. You’re going to change things.”
Settin’ The Record Straight:
As expected, lots of fans congratulated Tyrese and his wife, but where there are fans on social media, there are trolls. Unfortunately for Tyrese, one of the trolls took aim at him. The person questioned how his oldest daughter would feel about him doting on the new baby since he rarely ever shares posts about her.
Apparently, Tyrese didn’t miss the comment because he quickly replied explaining why fans no longer see photos and videos of Shayla. It’s not because they do not exist or he doesn’t have a relationship with his child. Unfortunately, the courts have restricted him from sharing posts of his kids. He revealed he already has photos of Shayla holding her new little sister, but he cannot post them.
“Because of my court, I can’t post photos or videos of my daughter Shayla…Believe me when I say…I have pics and videos of Shayla holding her sister Soraya that would blow people’s mind but I just can’t post…. No worries this will all change soon…God is up to something….”
So Many Questions:
Surprisingly, the person who commented isn’t the only one with questions. It’s no secret Tyrese and his ex-wife aren’t on good terms at all; but fans are wondering if she’s really as bad as he says she is.
Based on the latest posts about his new wife, some are wondering if he was actually there when Shayla was born, because he never shared these types of posts even before the recent court orders. For those who don’t know, the social media restriction was recently enforced. Prior to it, Tyrese still didn’t share many posts about his oldest daughter.
“I never question if he loves Shayla. I wonder was he present for her birth and if her mother endured a long labor. It’s something about how he has written the praise for his new wife that sounds backhanded to the ex-wife,” wrote one fan.
Another fan also raised more concerns about Tyrese’s mental health and a few others wasted no time blasting him for what appears to be overcompensation:
“N***a is a sorry excuse of black man he is a real-life deadbeat has an excuse for everything ..You can always tell when a parent f**ked up with one child they try to pour extra love into the new one.. Ya soul is dirty Tyrese”
It’ll be interesting to see how the outcome of Tyrese’s custody battle with his ex-wife.
