When Bobby Brown lost Whitney Houston in 2012, it took a huge toll on him, but no pain was greater than when he lost their baby girl, Bobbi Kristina, on July 26, 2015. When Bobbi Kristina died following a nearly 6 month coma, after being found unconscious in her bathtub, many worried that Bobby would not make it through without her.

Fast forward to today, and the New Edition legend has found a way to channel his grief into helping other women and families avoid abusive situations, much like the one Bobbi Kristina was reportedly in with her then boyfriend, Nick Gordon.

Bobby has now created The Bobbi Kristina Serenity House, a nonprofit foundation which provides funding, resources, and shelter to women and children who are escaping domestic abuse.

On Monday (April 8, 2019) and Tuesday (April 9, 2019), Bobby took to Instagram to thank R&B legend, Jody Watley; RHOA star/Xscape singer, Kandi Burruss; singer, Macy Gray, Empire actress, LaLa Anthony; and The View co-hosts, Meghan McCain and Joy Behar, for recently making generous donations to his foundation.
