Conflicting Claim Now Surfaces About The Millions Tyrese Says Will & Jada Gave Him
Another day, another case of ‘the plot thickens’ in the life of a celebrity. This go ’round, it’s a twist in Tyrese’s recent reveal about how Jada and Will Smith financially helped him, that’s got the internet lit right now.
Tyrese’s Prior $5 Million Reveal
Remember when we told y’all that Tyrese revealed he’s now broke and that his close friends, the Smiths came through for him in a major way? He claimed, at the time, that Jada and Will became concerned about what he was going through as he fights for custody of his daughter and is drowning financially as a result:

New Report Alleges Tyrese May Have Lied About The Smiths
To cut straight to the chase, now somebody’s calling Tyrese a straight up liar. The accuser is claiming Tyrese got real ‘jiggy with’ his imagination and that the Smiths never gave him $5 mill.’ That is according to a source whose supposedly close to Will and Jada’s inner circle:
Via TMZ- Tyrese claims Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith gave him a whopping $5 million so he could dig himself out of a financial hole from his custody case, but sources directly connected to both Will and Jada say it simply isn’t true. Our Will and Jada sources say they did not give Tyrese any money at all.
Tyrese posted last Sunday that Will and Jada gave him the gift in return for him staying mum about his trial. […] Will and Jada have been friends with Tyrese for years, and we’re told they’re extremely worried Tyrese is having some sort of a breakdown.
Meanwhile Back At The Ranch…
Meanwhile, Tyrese is never one to back down from his naysayers, but he’s apparently taking the liar allegations all in stride without necessarily addressing the situation head on. His muted reaction could also be due to the judge (presiding over his custody battle) recently ordering him to stop discussing matters involving his daughter, Shayla, on social media…who knows? At any rate, here’s what Tyrese posted soon after that $5 million denial claim surfaced:
“It’s time to get back to work…. Romans. 8:31. What then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? The good word says VICTORY IS MINE!! … God and Bumble Bee [the Transformers movie character] held my hand and never believed any of this bullshit that was being said I️ also thought I️ overheard him say “F*ck Em”…… no no no no…. Bumble you gotta keep it PG13 Baby!!”
At this point, we don’t know whose side to believe, BUT, what we do know is that somebody’s lying. The question is: Who?
