Congrats – After 30 Hours Of Labor, Tyrese & Wife Welcome Beautiful Daughter
On Monday, October 1, Tyrese revealed the day had finally come for he and his wife, Samantha. They were anticipating the arrival of their baby girl. This morning, the singer shared a couple more photos that confirmed their princess had finally made her entrance. After 30 hours of intense labor, Soraya Lee Gibson was born.
A Beautiful Bundle of Joy:
Just one day after posting about their arrival at the hospital, Tyrese and Samantha welcomed Soraya. Earlier today, the singer/actor posted a photo of himself laying on a hospital couch next to his daughter’s clear bassinette. It’s a scene most people have taken in before: those couple hours after a baby is born.
With all of the excitement and adrenaline, it’s often difficult to slow down, but it looks like Tyrese and his new daughter are adjusting rather well. With the photo, Tyrese included a lengthy caption with details about his daughter’s birth.
“Already on #DaddyDuties…. My wife is the real champion here I have never seen this level of strength and willpower….. She was in labor for 30 hours… 8 pounds 6 oz later….. We know our daughter came here to change things…. We wanna say thank you and we appreciate your prayers and love… We are both overjoyed with our new angel Soraya Lee Gibson and exhausted! Soraya we are going to love you and protect you till the end of this earth…. We prayed and invited the spirit of the lord into every room we went into and are truly blessed that God delivered on his promise….: Amen…. So many family moments and celebrations to come…. Your going meet your amazing big sister #Shayla in 4 days…. Your mother’s birthday is in 25 days….. Thanksgiving is near, Christmas is Dec 25th, your father is turning 40 on Dec 30th, then New Years etc……. Overjoyed thank you guys for all the sincere covering in prayers and love queen and princess Gibson is resting!!!! No more post for me……: ( can’t reveal our angel my wife ain’t havin’ it……. Love you guys ha!!!

Full of Surprises:
Tyrese’s latest posts follow his viral post on Monday, October 1. The “Stay” singer shared a quick video of he and his wife in labor and delivery. Wearing a mask, Tyrese gave fans a glimpse of the hospital room. In the caption, he revealed they actually weren’t expecting to head to the hospital that day, but apparently, their daughter had a different plan.
After catching a movie, going to church, and enjoying a romantic day together, all hell broke loose. In a matter of minutes, their day took a very unexpected turn. Although surprises aren’t always welcome, Tyrese admitted this was a heartwarming surprise they’d been anticipating for quite some time.
He wrote, “Always full of surprises my wife didn’t see this one coming…. #PrayerWarriors please send your most sincere prayers our way….. Our angel is on the way!” The singer/actor continued, “Our daughter allowed us to go to our last movie……….. ( 2 post ago ) Go to our last church service, and take a romantic stroll while holding hands through the beautiful botanical gardens of Eden and feeling the presence of God in every step… no we’re headed to the hospital………… Can’t wait to meet our angel……”
