Ahmed Abdirzak was having a trip of a lifetime with his friends in Miami Beach. But a chance encounter with  Conor McGregor led to his phone allegedly being smashed and stolen. Abdirzak says he pulled out his phone to take a photo of the UFC star early Monday morning at Fountainebleau in Miami. The London resident told TMZ that McGregor then tricked him into a handshake which led to the confrontation.

“He came to shake my hand, and as soon as he came to shake my hand, he pulled me in and grabbed my phone and started smashing it,” Abdirzak said. “All these security guards literally surrounded me and pushed me out of the way. And he’s stomping on it. “He was rude. He was like, ‘Get the f*** out of my face. Move.’ And I was like, ‘Yo, sir can I have my phone back?’ And (security guards said), ‘Move, man. Conor said what Conor said. His grip was insane. I could tell he was a professional athlete,” the restaurant manager said.

Abdirzak added: “I thought he’s going to hit me. I was shocked. I looked into his face and his eyes were bulging. He was so angry. I don’t know whether he was drunk or on drugs, but he looked f***ked.  I just remained passive, I didn’t want to fight. Then with his right hand he punched the phone. It was so hard I felt the impact through my entire body. I’m not going to lie, I was scared for my life – the guy is a lethal weapon.”

Abdirzak says he watched in pure disbelief as his phone screen shattered. But claims when he tried to retrieve the phone McGregor stole it.

“He stamped on it four times. He then picked it up and put it in his jeans. I couldn’t believe what I was seeing. He did his swagger dance and headed to his black SUV with his entourage surrounding him. I was asking them, ‘Can I get my phone back?’ I tried to run after him and asked for it back but he just laughed.”
