The former unofficial fiancee of Aaliyah, Damon Dash, spoke out in what was a rare showing of emotion for him (we say ‘unofficial fiancee’ because they weren’t officially engaged but Dame said they had marriage plans scheduled after Aaliyah would have finished filming “Matrix).

Typically Dame is more of a brash type of cat in interviews, but his appearance on “The Real” was anything but that. He spoke about the love of his life, the beloved Aaliyah, and revealed how he could have saved her life.
