Betty Wright is still releasing new music, and mentoring new artists, but she’s also now an artist of another kind- she’s a painter and her art company is Dramatika D-Signs, Inc. (http://www.dramatikadsigns.com).

For those who’s memory needs to be refreshed on Betty’s credentials, here they are:

Betty’s a 14-time Grammy nominee as a writer, artist and producer. She’s won a Grammy for Best R&B Song (“Where Is The Love”), has been in the music game for over 40 years. She was the first female artist to achieve gold record sales via her own record label, Ms. B Records. She’s collaborated with everyone from Stevie Wonder to Alice Cooper, toured with Bob Marley, and has done vocal production for Gloria Estefan, Jennifer Lopez, and Joss Stone and more. She served as vocal coach on P Diddy’s MTV series “Making The Band” and she continues to mentor new talent to this day.

Recently she’s lent her voice to rapper Rick Ross’ Mastermind’s album on the song “Sanctified” alongside rappers, Kanye West and Big Sean. Like I said, those are some BIG shoes for Treecee Lee to fill.
