Destiny’s Child singer, Michelle Williams (36), is getting a bunch of “Get it Michelle!” and “Yaaaassss” comments from her female fans ,regarding her new boo-thang. Apparently Michelle is “crazy in love” with her man, who blends in perfectly with Michelle’s Christian roots and gospel career.

So who is her new man? His name is Chad Johnson and he’s a pastor and the sports chaplain for the L.A. Dodgers baseball team and for the Pittsburg Stealers NFL team.

He’s also the founder of Elevate International, which is a “not for profit organization whose mission is to transform and equip the urban community through life-changing programs, targeted outreach, and Christ-focused mentorship that build servant leaders – one youth, one family, one generation at a time.” Lastly, Chad has a love for New Edition…he celebrated his recent 40th birthday in full 80s/90s R&B mode…

Michelle’s Man Announces Relationship Online

It was actually Chad who put he and Michelle’s love on full display on Instagram earlier today (Monday, July 10, 2017), and Michelle co-signed it in his comments. He posted a pic of he and Michelle on a yacht together celebrating his birthday over the weekend, with the caption:

She is special!!! And in her words …… “I’m all the way here for it!” #40for40 🙏🏽🙏🏽

Michelle responded with hearts and praying hands emojis.

As soon as Chad posted that photo, the preacher who some ladies have probably been trying to discreetly get with ‘in the name of Jesus’ of course- was getting much love online for finding a great woman like Michelle. Michelle also received much love. Even the ex’s Destiny’s Child singer- whom Michelle replaced in the group- Letoya Luckett, showed the happy couple love in the comments:

The reason people are probably so happy for them is because typically, Michelle has been the DC member the world knows the least about- from a personal standpoint. So to see her go public with anyone is a plus for her fans. She clearly takes great steps to guard her dating life though, and that’s understandable, because in the world of entertainment, things like that can get exaggerated from level zero to 100 real quick.

We wish Michelle Williams and her new preacher boo, Chad, many years of happiness and who knows? Maybe we’ll be reporting on wedding bells in their future soon. Okay, okay…that’s moving a lil’ too fast.
