Bill Cosby Admitted To Giving Drugs To Woman

the deposition could reveal details of Cosby’s marriage, sex life and prescription drug use.

“It would be terribly embarrassing for this material to come out,” lawyer George M. Gowen III argued in June. He said the public should not have access to what Cosby was forced to say as he answered questions under oath from the accuser’s lawyer nearly a decade ago.

“Frankly … it would embarrass him, (and) it would also prejudice him in eyes of the jury pool in Massachusetts,” Gowen said.

U.S. District Judge Eduardo Robreno asked last month why Cosby was fighting the release of his sworn testimony, given that the accusations in the Temple woman’s lawsuit were already in the public eye.

“Why would he be embarrassed by his own version of the facts?” Robreno said.

Cosby resigned in December from the board of trustees at Temple, where he was the popular face of the Philadelphia school in advertisements, fundraising campaigns and commencement speeches.

Bill CosbyThis is getting pretty bad for Cosby. The only foggy part about this is that two out of the three women mentioned in this 2005 deposition said they “knowingly” accepted the quaaludes from Cosby, but the woman who actually took him to court over this, doesn’t state whether or not she “knowingly” took any pills from Cosby.

In the cases of the two women who knew they were allegedly accepting drugs from Cosby with the intent to get high, should all of the blame be placed on Cosby? Or should he share the blame with the women who consented to his actions?

Cosby’s still innocent until proven guilty, but our stance is this: If Mr. Cosby did what the women are claiming, then he absolutely deserves to pay for it and we hope that those women can find some healing from those encounters eventually; But if he did not, then he is getting a bad wrap in the public’s eye. This new revelation of his 2005 deposition definitely makes his new cases look suspicious though.

What do you think about all of this ILOSM family?
