Diana & Daughter Tracee Ellis Ross Sent Social Media In A Frenzy For AMA Awards
Last night, quite a few celebrities appeared at the 2017 American Music Awards but there were two women in particular, who’s turned heads everywhere – Diana Ross and her daughter, Tracee Ellis Ross. If you didn’t see the awards show, you definitely missed out because Diana and Tracee were it! From the wardrobe changes to the family’s big reunion onstage, they were everything you would have wanted to see Sunday night.
A Night To Remember:
According to People magazine, Diana Ross performed at the awards ceremony and accepted the Lifetime Achievement Award. But the Ross family dominating the American Music Awards didn’t stop there. Her daughter Tracee Ellis Ross also hosted the show and she looked absolutely stunning. With 12 different wardrobe changes throughout the show, Tracee managed to nail it each and every time!

A Televised Family Reunion: Diana’s Kids, Grandbabies & In Laws
Since both women dominated the stage, the entire Ross family also showed their support by attending the event. Diana Ross was joined on the red carpet with daughters Tracee Ellis Ross, 45, Chudney, 42, and Rhonda Ross Kendrick, 46, as well as son Ross Naess, 30. But when Diana Ross took the stage to perform before accepting her award, she wasn’t the only one who caught fans’ attention. Her adorable grandson also stole the show with his amazing dance moves!

The night was one that will go down in history for the Ross family. When asked about the memorable night, Tracee Ellis Ross revealed how much she was anticipating it. Since her mother has been in the music industry for more than 40 years, the Black-Ish star felt her mother’s performance would give the younger generation a glimpse of what she’s given to the music industry for so many years. “[Diana Ross] is a bit of an international treasure in my opinion. I’m excited that a younger generation gets to witness that, even just through the television screen. Also, I think it’s a really extraordinary thing to honor somebody who’s had such an everlasting career, whose music has touched lives in such a poignant and special way. Music reaches into your heart, and my mom’s voice has been a part of people’s lives for a long time.”
