Page Six also reports that after learning about Diana’s ordeal they issued a statement to alleviate the public’s fears about how the TSA checks passengers as well as requesting Diana’s aid with further investigation if necessary.
“TSA is aware of concerns presented by Diana Ross about her screening experience at Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport this morning,” the statement read.
“Initial review of CCTV indicates that the officers involved with Ms. Ross’s screening correctly followed all protocols, however, TSA leadership will continue to investigate the matter further. We encourage Ms. Ross to reach out to TSA so we can work with her directly to address her concerns.”
Hopefully this was a huge misunderstanding that can be rectified quickly. The fact that the TSA is willing to work with Diana to get to the bottom of the issue shows signs of good faith though, and maybe together they can come to a resolution that won’t involve any legal action moving forward.
