In 2013, Dr. Dre and his business partner, Jimmy Iovine, invested $70 million into USC “to create a degree that blends business, marketing, product development, design and liberal arts.” The program -officially named, U.S.C. Jimmy Iovine and Andre Young Academy for Arts, Technology and the Business of Innovation– has it’s own lavish educational facility on the USC campus. As of today, the program is still going strong and getting rave reviews from the students.
Congrats to Dr. Dre’s daughter, Truly Young, and we look forward too seeing what the future holds for her.
