“I think we had a good team on paper,” Dwight says. “I just think that, if you look at the pieces that we had — and no offense to Kobe…like I told you earlier, I think he’s better than Jordan.”
“I only say that because I feel like, everything Jordan did, he [Kobe] did it better.”
But actually, Dwight goes on to say that he doesn’t believe Kobe necessarily made other players around him better. According to Howard, Kobe “needed the ball,” which didn’t exactly give others a clear shot at developing or growing as a player.
