Sometimes people have to learn the hard way- possibly by hitting a hypothetical brick wall and then realizing, ‘Hey…I was wrong…or maybe, wronged.’ That’s what just happened to rap legend, Foxy Brown, and the lesson she has been forced to learn unfortunately at the expense of her father’s rights in the U.S.. In 2016, Foxy was a vocal supported of Donald Trump and caught a lot of flack from fans, now she’s hurt and outraged by what his new immigration policy has just done to her Pops and her family.

Foxy Brown Goes Off

According to The Jasmine Brand, Foxy recently took to social media to sound off about how her dad was not allowed back into the U.S. after having lived here for 50 years. As a result of Trump’s new zero tolerance immigration policy, which is literally ripping children out of the arms of their immigrant parents at the border- not even his celebrity supporters are immune to it…just ask Foxy Brown.

She first started her angry rant reflecting on how sad it is to see children being separated from their parents:

“This angel’s BABY C’s age. I’d literally f***ing DIE, torn apart from my daughter! The atrocity at the border is unspeakable; subjecting any child to an environment conducive to horror, speaks volumes of the demonic world we live in.”

Up next, was what Trump’s new ‘zero tolerance’ immigration policy has just done to her Pops and family. She also backtracked on her support of Trump:

“My parents are TRINIDADIAN IMMIGRANTS (educated, sophisticated, hard-working teacher & welder), yup I rock that flag proudly! I too, much like Kanye, were one of the few celebs who didn’t publicly denounce Trump in the beginning, and got f—slaughtered!

Although I DID NOT AGREE with every action, (LET ME REITERATE THAT), DID NOT AGREE with his actions, I respected the art of the deal, politics aside.”

She continued:

“Yet our trip to TRINIDAD CARNIVAL ended in horror, (as IMMIGRATION stopped MY FATHER at the airport), and refused him entry back to the US, where he’s lived for 50 something years, married in, and all 3 of his kids (Inga, Gavin & Anton) were born! Trinidad let him through, US won’t let him back in!!!

It sent chills through my family, we fought like hell, quietly, and YES my father’s STILL stuck there! He wasn’t by my side as I’d hoped, as I gave birth to my only daughter. Convo’s are heartbreaking; I tend to end them quickly, his voice sounds so different, spirit sounds broken but undefeated!”

Then Foxy ended her rant with the same point she started on- the heart wrenching pain of watching children torn away from their parents and being kept in cages, due to the policies the man she supported put into place:

“Seeing these angels torn from their parents, I knew no longer could I fight this in silence. Holding “MY C” so much tighter right now, as my heart bleeds for these babies!”

Foxy’s Prior Support Of Trump In 2016

Foxy Brown’s new heartfelt messages are a far cry from what she said to Daily News in 2016. It was damn near reminiscent of Stacy Dash. If you missed that, here it it is:

Via Daily News– “No matter how many people sabotage his [Trump’s] campaign, it keeps growing and growing and growing,” [Foxy] Brown told the Daily News.”I know so many people won’t agree with me and will try to change my mind, but I’m a smart girl. I’m excited … I haven’t been this excited in so long. I know people say he’s a racist, but that’s just crazy.”

Fans React To Foxy

Now, y’all already know, fans were not about to let Foxy forget what she said that easily. Even though many fans feel pain for her daddy not being allowed to re-enter the country he’s called home for 50 years, they let Foxy know where they stood on this. See just a few of the comments below:

About I Love Old School Music

We salute the incredible people and beautiful memories of that "old school". We’re not saying that every artist and every facet of the soul era was perfect, but the artists’ contributions to soul music and the old school memories of that particular time are PRICELESS.
