Sadly, just three days after the news of his recovery progress was issued by the family, here we are today, mourning the loss of one of the greatest jazz/soul entertainers to have ever done it. The beautiful thing in all of this is that Jarreau was still doing what he did best- scatting and singing his heart out, like only he uniquely could upon until his last days. Our continued prayers are going up for the Jarreau family in their time of grief.
