When it comes to childbearing, most celebrity women share jaw-dropping, post-pregnancy photos that make you wonder if they even carried a baby. Just days after giving birth, celebrity women often look like their bodies underwent no changes at all. However, women everywhere are praising Tia Mowry for doing the exact opposite. The former Sister, Sister star recently shared her post-pregnancy photos and they’re as real as ever. Tia’s making it very clear she’s a typical person just like everyone else. Now, her photos are going viral for all the right reasons.

No Shame In Her Game:

Unlike many women who shy away from the camera during pregnancy and the weeks after giving birth, Tia has no shame in her game. Throughout her pregnancy, she’s shared photos with fans and they’ve had the opportunity to catch a real glimpse of her life away from the public eye. Many fans have agreed Tia’s latest photos are just as beautiful as the professional photos she takes for films, television, and magazine. The raw and uncut photos actually help fans to better relate to the actress. Behind closed doors at home, Tia is a wife and mother like so many other women around the world.

On Sunday, June 24, Tia shared a photo seven weeks postpartum. Although she’s a star, her photos prove she’s human and she’s happy about it. In the post, she discussed her post-partum belly and shared details about her birthing experience. She also revealed the major differences between her first and second pregnancies and how she felt about her appearance.

“7 weeks #postpartum, Tia wrote. “Some #pregnant women after giving birth no longer have a belly after 7 weeks. While others it may take a little longer. Me, I’m the latter. I remember after giving birth to Cree, my belly didn’t all of a sudden go flat. I did have a C-Section, (as well as with my second pregnancy) and I thought something was wrong with me. I had seen in magazines the many women on the beach a few weeks #postpartum in a two piece. To be honest, it had to take time for me to embrace my new body. With this second pregnancy, I now have embraced that fact that I’ve housed a human being. A miracle. A life. If it takes a while for me to get back to my normal self, than so be it. This.Is.Me. And I love me. #momlife#motherhood #7weeks”

Fans’ Reactions:

In many cases, people respond to posts like Tia’s with rude comments as if celebrities aren’t human. But many fans have come to Tia’s defense and commended her for sharing her experiences with fans. Many women even chimed in and shared similar experiences admitting that it felt great to know they weren’t alone. One fan wrote, “Yess love it the media only wants to show woman as stick figures every woman’s body is different. And you’re absolutely correct giving birth is a miracle. I’m almost 58 with two daughters 32 and 28 and I’ve never gotten my belly completely flat again it is what it is. My reminder of giving birth nor the stretch marks that came but I have two beautiful daughters and that’s what’s important.”

Major props to Tia Mowry for being brave enough to share a REAL image with her fans!

About I Love Old School Music

We salute the incredible people and beautiful memories of that "old school". We’re not saying that every artist and every facet of the soul era was perfect, but the artists’ contributions to soul music and the old school memories of that particular time are PRICELESS.
