When you’re the first African American woman to ever win an Oscar Academy Award for “Best Actress,” it’s pretty tough to keep your private life, private. Somehow though, Halle Berry finds a way to keep folks up outta her business. So much so, that she’s managed the nearly impossible feat of making sure she protects her babies, by having kept their faces hidden until she was ready to unveil them.

We’ve long ago seen her daughter, Nahla (with ex-boyfriend, Gabriel Aubry), but for four years straight, Halle’s fans have been wondering what her lil’ man, Maceo (with ex-husband/actor, Oliver Martinez) looks like. The 51 year old acting legend has repeatedly taken to Instagram to show off photos of her son’s back, fingers, toes, and such, but after a while that gets kinda boring, I must admit. Hell, the way I see it- if you’e gonna keep showing your kids’ hair and back, you might as well not show ’em at all…but I digress…

Anyways, Halle has finally decided to give her fans what they’ve been curious about- a cool photo of little Maceo’s face. Check him out below…

Okay, so she didn’t quite show a front shot of the young brotha, but at least fans got his cool profile, which is good enough. Fans have now been flocking to her comments section to give Halle big ups on how handsome her son is. Overall, this was a big step for the ever so secretive Halle Berry, so props to her for stepping outside of her comfort zone.

Her Daughter Is Growing Up Too

As we previously reported in May 2018, photos surfaced of the used-to-be-happy family: Halle, her ex, Gabriel, and their 10 year old daughter, Nahla, successfully having a pleasant co-parenting moment at at a carnival in Los Angeles, Ca.. Although Halle and Gabriel seemed to have buried the hatchet from their tense filled relationship, Halle’s body language spoke volumes in a very subtle way. Gabriel Aubry was all smiles during their outing, but Ms. Berry looked like she was just tolerating him and being cordial. Check out the pics of all three of them below…

Ex Blamed For Trying To Turn Their Daughter White…
In 2014, Halle took Gabriel to court for what she says was his attempt to try to ‘turn their daughter White,’ by eliminating as much of her African American features as possible -such as her hair texture and color:

Via DailyMail– In her testimony, Halle said: “I strongly feel that Gabriel’s same underlying attitude is at the root in the changes which only he could have been causing to our daughter’s hair.” She told how she had secured scientific evidence to prove she is not “delusional,” as Gabriel had called her, “about the extensive damage and the changes to the texture and color of Nahla’s hair that were observed by me. I was not willing to allow this to be a ‘he said-she said’ dispute.” And she noted: “I continue to worry about the potential psychological and physical damage to Nahla that can be caused by the use of chemical hair treatments and the psychological message that it conveys to Nahla, and to implore the court to put a stop to Gabriel’s attempts to alter our daughter’s appearance and most probably cause her to wonder why her natural appearance is not good enough.”
